Everything we were looking for

There were ample towels, clean sheets, and plumbing and fixtures worked well. Shower was hot and powerful. Very close to the Holiday Valley resort and easy parking. We plan to book again next year.

Sadly disappointing
Publié le 17 janv. 2024 sur HotelsI want to preface this review by saying that I recognize that this is a tough business, especially for a small business owner. It breaks my heart a little to write this, but the lodge needs serious work.
I’ll start with the positives, which is that our room was clean enough. And there was plenty of room for the entire crew. Four beds in total, which is a hard deal to match without booking two rooms at most places. It’s also right on the edge of town, not far from Holiday Valley.
The negatives are another story. First thing is that the fittings, trim, etc. are old, some of it is pretty heavily damaged. A lot of lower quality furnishings, like extremely soft mattresses and home made laminate sinks/vanity tops. The common spaces were very cluttered and the building was noisy.
Hoping they can improve from our experience but I felt obligated to share.

Very basic. The shower is tiny. The picture of the room doesn’t match the room. There is no bah mat.
On the positive side it was quiet and relatively inexpensive compared to other options.
