Enjoy Luxury for less ! Welcome to 'FarFarAway'. Fully updated beautiful, spacious and semi-secluded, mountain, log cabin. We just transformed our unfinished basement into a Game room which includes a pool table, wet bar, arcade, and infared sauna with an Additional bedroom and Bathroom. It is meticulously decorated to make you feel at home or if you need to do a little work there is WiFi. Fully-equipped kitchen for those of you who like to cook. Seasonal and year round mountain views. Triple private wood decks for your outdoor comfort including hot tub and personal deck off master. Great room with soaring wooden ceilings and fireplace on main level. Great place for kids to get away. This is in a secure gated community with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, tennis courts, hiking and lake activities.

Located on Walnut Mountain, a private upscale gated community only three miles from historic downtown Ellijay and fifteen miles from beautiful and quaint downtown Blue Ridge. Both Ellijay and Blue Ridge have wonderful shopping and restaurants. Also located within half hour of Murphy, North Carolina and McCaysville, Tennessee. During the summer months enjoy all that gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge has to offer including swimming and boating. Whitewater rafting is near by as well. Visit other quaint towns such as Helen or Dahlonaga or hit the best discount shopping mall in Georgia located in Dawsonville, less then an hours drive. Come see the incredible foliage in the fall. It does not get better then this!

This place was great. We enjoyed every minutes of it. We only left twice for groceries in the week we called this place home. We had no reason to leave with the pool table, arcade, sauna, hot rib, and all the games.

Overall it was a good experience and the views were amazing. The property was dated and in need of repair and updates. Additionally, the owner expectations seemed a little excessive and more about the things they’ve been annoyed with in the past vs their desire to give an incredible experience for guests. Some small updates could go a long ways - soft colored paint in the main floor bedroom, new countertops and sink in the kitchen, get rid of the red chair that looks old and worn, ensure there is coffee available in a little basket at check in, fix carpet in basement and update all signs (bathroom signs are water splattered and old). You could make many of these fixes for less than 5k and it would drastically increase improve the experience

We enjoyed our stay. The location was great. We loved the pool table, the decks and the wildlife. We really enjoyed seeing all the deer, watching the hawks, crows and listening to the owls. The home is a bit outdated, could use some minor repairs as well as a good deep cleaning (window sills, baseboard, and cobwebs) for the price and that it sleeps 6-8 people, we would stay again in the future.

I was very happy with this cabin for the second year in a row!I was a bit disappointed that this year I was forced to buy accident protection and that the host fees went up. It cost several hundred dollars more this year due to that. The nightly rental fee was the same. Maybe offer a return customer discount to offset some of the cost, if the fees are a necessity.

The cabin is in a secured neighborhood which created a sense of safety. Lots of private spaces and gathering spaces to use. Cabin was well equipped for everything you might need. Host was responsive when contacted. My only two areas of concern were that the outdoor decks were dirty and the interior needed some love. Chair cushions were covered in dust/dirt and spiderwebs. Indoors there was peeling paint, torn rugs, indoor ice and water dispenser did not work. Overall we enjoyed our stay, tons of stuff to do in the surrounding areas!

This was the perfect getaway. The cabin was in a safe and quiet gated community. It was was clean and very spacious. Our family loved the basement game room (pool table/arcade), and we enjoyed all the outdoor seating options (including the hot tub). The host provided clear information and was very responsive via text. Overall, a great relaxing weekend. We would definitely book this cabin again.

Beautiful Cabin

The host was very responsive, check in was easy, and the durections were great. The cabin had beautiful views, was well stocked with dishes and plenty of space. The teenagers LOVED the pool table downstairs!

Great Cabin

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Once we figured out how to get into the gate it was better. The instructions sent to us were a little outdated but the owner got back with us quickly. The inside of the cabin was tidy and welcoming. The outside living space needed to be cleaned. The furniture was dirty and there were alot of spider webs and spiders. Beds were adequate and having 3 bathrooms was great. It was myself, my husband, and our 4 teenage sons. They LOVED the pool table and dart board. We did have to buy our own darts and fix a couple of the pool sticks from prior use I assume. All in all a great stay but would've been better if we could've spent more time outside. We just didn't want to have to clean the space during our trip.

Walnut Mountain Cabin

Great place for family vacation. Three levels, each with full bath and bedroom, so plenty of privacy for everyone. Beautiful Mountain View. The only negative is the curvy roads and the steep steps to the cabin, but that is just how it is in the mountains. Plenty of room and everything you need right there. Owners available for all of my questions and responded very quickly to my texts. Very nice pool area close to the cabin.

Great Cabin

We loved this secluded cabin. Scenic view from the three decks. Lots of wildlife including deer every morning and afternoon. The hot tub, pool table, wet bar and arcade game kept us entertained. I think I counted 8 TVs throughout the cabin. Sitting around one of the electric fireplaces at night was the perfect way to end each day!

Lovely place with great views of the mountains. Needs some maintenance - we had several things that didn't work and written instructions given were not accurate. Owner did respond to help but it took 24 hours before response. Owner apologized and did correct some of the issues.

Great amenities, especially for the price. The house is starting to show some wear and tear though, and could use some TLC (for example: fraying carpet in the basement, wall dings & scratches in all bedrooms & basement, water rings on the ceiling in a few places, super-loud blower on upstairs gas fireplace). No major complaints - we enjoyed our stay!
