A great stay for a short weekend trip!
Posted Apr. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayMy best friend and I loved staying at Dee’s place for our girls trip weekend. If you are allergic to dogs it may not be for you, there were some traces of dog hair on the floor but we have dogs as well so we didn’t mind! Overall the room was clean, and perfect for a quick stay! :) Thanks Dee!

Absolutely no dog hair. No animals are allowed any where near my rental for the very reason that people have allergies. No animals are allowed to stay with renters as well. This rental is an animal free zone.

The Best Stay Ever

I got a zoom job interview at a time when I supposed to have checked out already and Dee kindly accommodated me by letting me stay for a few more hours since there is no new guest coming. Dee also gave me her famous brownies which are to die for! Dee is a wonderful, kind person who make me feel very welcoming. I can’t ask for a better host than Dee.
The property itself is exactly how it is described. It is very comfortable and quiet. There is a little yard area where I hanged my scuba diving gear to dry (I brought my own drying rack). The bed and the pillows are very comfortable. Although there is no stove, the place is equipped with a mini-grill/toaster oven, coffee machine and microwave, which is suited for my stay since I eat out anyways. The place is conveniently located a few minutes drive from the coast and from downtown Encinitas where there are plenty of restaurant choices.
I feel like home at this place and I am looking forward to come back next time when I visit the San Diego greater area.

Wow, I am shocked that is all Cynthia wrote about her stay with me. I brought her new towels constantly and new bed sheets during her 12 day stay. I told her she could bring her grandkids over for visits anytime I constantly texted her asking if she needed anything and she always replied that she was fine.
She unplugged the refrigerator which I found very strange.
I have never had such a weird and nothing review. If you look at my dozens of reviews I have always had 5 stars. I am always very responsive to whatever my guests need
I would never want her to stay with me again.
I have never said this about any guest I have had.

Posted Sep. 15, 2023 on HomeAwayThis place was just perfect for me. Dee is the consummate host. Conscientious, there when you need her but allows for your ultimate privacy as well. Her unit is 100% clean and I am very picky so trust me when I say clean. She provided amenities like water and the use of her Keurig, which was very helpful since I like to bring my own K cups. The bed is super comfy and the sheets are divine! I don’t hesitate to give her place a 10 STAR review.

Perfect spot in Encinitas
Posted Sep. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayThis efficiency unit was perfect for my husband and I. Microwave, dorm-sized refrigerator and coffee pot allowed us maximum flexibility with meals. YMCA is walking distance! Very convenient location on a lovely quiet street.
