There was no hand soap in our room and others. We’re 2 toothbrushes and they only had one. We were told the pool and hit tub were open but they were not.

We appreciated the location—it’s very close to the bayfront—and the price was more affordable compared to the hotels right on the water. However, you definitely get what you pay for. When we checked into our room, there was only one bath towel provided, and the beds were visibly dirty. We strongly considered leaving that night, but instead ended up placing our own blankets over the beds just to get through the stay. Although it was cheaper, the savings weren’t worth the lack of cleanliness. Next time we visit Lake Erie, we’ll be choosing one of the cleaner hotels nearby, even if it means spending a bit more.

The hotel is ok. Location is good. Workers were friendly. They are slacking in a few things. The pool had a lot of floating debris. We found old socks in our room. They were short on towels so they gave us 2 towels for 4 people. But the thing that I absolutely have to mention is what in the world are they serving as EGGS in the breakfast. Never seen or tasted anything like that in my life. Wrong color, wrong texture, no taste (thankfully I think), hands down weirdest food product I’ve ever come across. Breakfast is a major factor when I book hotels because it just helps to get everyone fed before starting the agenda for the day. And this breakfast wasn’t worth going down for a second day. So just some advice if breakfast is important for your stay.

Lied to by manager - will not stay here again

We were guaranteed adjoining rooms since we were traveling with children. Upon checking in we were told there were only two sets of adjoining rooms with one half of one already occupied and one half of the other with no a/c. When checking out we were told the hotel actually has NO adjoining rooms. The pool was small and felt more like a sauna and the gym was laughable - only two exercise machines and some weights. Worst of all, we were told we could not use the $400 Hotels.com gift card and we would have to contact Hotels.com directly, so expect a call very soon.

They put a hold on my credit card for the entire time I stayed. It was basically double the stay cost. So my $400 stay cost me over $800 while I was there. So I couldn’t use that money for things on my trip like food, drinks, and activities and when I asked the man at the front desk about it he just said he didn’t know why it was like that and would go back in my account after I checked out. They should really warn people be prepared to pay double while you stay!! Luckily I had my husband with me to help pay for things while I waited for the hotel to give me back my money they were holding hostage!! Also seemed like the night time desk lady was busy entertaining her own BF and friends serving drinks, smoking cigarettes, and hanging out rather than helping guests. I had to stand at the desk for 10 minutes to check out a soda from the little store at the hotel. Also the breakfast was not good. Not many options the food looked like it was geared more towards children. We also had to request a shower curtain there was none in our room and for a two night stay we had two small towels for two adults. The hotel overall smelled like an ashtray and dirty shoes. Will not stay here again even tho it was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do the extra $400 hold on my account was not worth the poor service and stinky building.

Nice stay. Convenient location to great Bayfront restaurants. Room was clean and the beds were average. Every worker we came in contact with was pleasant and professional. Wife said the breakfast was average. Overall could stay here again in the future for trips up Erie.
