Great stay in Eufaula

Posted May 12, 2024 on HomeAwayMy family and I loved every aspect of this house. It was nicely furnished and decorated! The deck outside allows guests to have the perfect view of beautiful lake Eufaula. It was right in town, close to amazing restaurants like The Cajun Corner and Joe’s Crab Pot. (Highly recommended both places). The smart tv had many options for streaming, in the living room and bedrooms! Reading the papers showcased on the wall in the hallway to tell the history of this amazing vacation rental was so fun to see and learn more about. Overall a great stay! Highly Recommend!

Jailhouse Relaxation
Posted Apr. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayThe Jailhouse is a beautiful, clean spacious home with a knockout view of Lake Eufaula. We truly enjoyed the novelty of being in this old building and had fun imagining how the original Jail was set up.
The only disappointment was the landscaping. The yard needed a major spring cleaning! Such a great outdoor space that needs a bit of love to give it that wow factor.
Take advantage of the great oak and Magnolia tree.
The location was great.! very close to good fishing and wonderful restaurants, particularly the Cajun Corner.

If you enjoy bird watching as we do - bring binoculars - this location provides plenty of opportunties from the back covered deck and the patio over looking the lake. We are already discussing a return visit.

Quiet Get Away.
Posted Mar. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayWe loved the history and setting of the home. The view of the water was very peaceful. The house was tastefully decorated, and very close to shops and restaurants. We will return soon and tell others about The Old City Jail as well.

Beautiful and comfortable
Posted Feb. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I visited my family in my hometown and wanted a nice accommodation convenient to where we were planning an event. I'd never stayed in the walkable part of my town but it made me see it in a whole new light. We walked everywhere! Restaurants, the florist shop, the drugstore, the nature trail. And the apartment was so comfortable and nicely appointed! We had breakfast with coffee there in the kitchen and enjoyed the views of the lake while hosting friends and family for long catch-up conversations. We look forward to staying in Brett & family's home next time we're in the area.
