The lodge feel really fit the location. We liked the fact that the restaurant was a walk from the hotel and enjoyed adventuring out in the snow to get to the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and plenty of room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The fact that they provide shuttle service to the airport and the train station was a big bonus as well.

The ambiance and amenities were great here. It’s not a luxurious hotel, but it had a true Alaskan feel and I absolutely understand why so many people recommended it. I could’ve stayed more in town at a newer Marriott property, but I never regretted staying here. I actually really loved it. The rooms were comfortable enough and the staff helpful.

Great location, great touch that they have a Northern Lights wake up call and their own heated viewing area. The hotel has a bunch of activities and the restaurant next door is good food and you can watch reindeer next door while you eat.

If you’re ever going to Fairbanks! Pikes in a MUST!!! Locally owned and operated, the cabin style resort with a view of the Chena River at the back and the Aurora Borealis can be view when it’s strong. Rooms are clean, service excellent, breakfast included as well. I’m definitely going to be staying here in the future! It’s close to the airport and has a free shuttle and close enough to the town and university. The resort has food options and loads to do as well!
