Zen House is conveniently located just off Route 40 in Farmington, PA and offers a serene mountain setting minutes from all of our local attractions. The name says it all
a place to relax and unwind. A massage chair awaits you. When you’re ready to venture out you will find shopping featuring over 100 local artisans, concert venue and a winery nearby. Local history surrounds you in every direction. During your stay you will enjoy the conveniences of home such as a kitchen complete with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal, two spacious living room areas, an outdoor grill, firepit, hammock, a covered porch to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail and a basement game area. Games provided are ping pong, foosball, corn hole, badminton, as well as an assortment of small board games and books. We also provide baby gates, utensils, high chair, booster seat and pack n play portable crib. Insurance protection is available instead of refundable security deposit upon request for $59.

ZEN house was perfect for me and my friends while we spent two days trip kayaking the lower Youghiogheny river. Perfect location, close to the river and nearby restaurants. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, with welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces where we could gather together or have some private time. Plus so many available games, and a massage chair to ease those sore kayaking muscles! Thank you, Tricia, for being so easy to communicate with, and for preparing such a great place for us to stay!

Exceptional. Host responds quickly to questions. All your needs are provided and more. Home was very clean, comfortable, and very inviting. Be sure to look in all the closets and cubby holes for games and puzzles and other extras. Challenge you to find the chess set. Location is great for all area attractions. Nice that they make the garage available for parking. Don't miss the shops below the house for all your decorating and gift wants. This will be our first choice for our next visit to the area. Best stocked kitchen that we have found in a VRBO. Rated 5.

Awesome stay!!

What a peaceful and amazing stay! We felt right at home and admired the many small details. Host was very responsive. Quiet, peaceful, enjoyed the fire pit and fireflies! Coffee in the morning on the deck was great. Close to Ohiopyle!! Would stay again.

Here to visit Fallingwater

Easy drive to Fallingwater which was our primary reason for the stay. Now that we’ve explored the area a bit, we look forward to returning.The house is comfortable and convenient to many area attractions. The rain kept us from enjoying the fire pit but it is a lovely place to hang out. We loved that there was a jigsaw puzzle underway that we could work on.Great home for a family vacation in the Laurel Highlands.

Fun House

Great location. Super clean. Lots to do. We visited Laurel Canyon, Ohio State Park for great hiking, the winery and visited a great meat market for beautiful steaks. Ping Pong, corn hole, Foosball, puzzles, Fire Pit, which we were unfortunately unable to utilise because of the rain. Lots of tournaments with our group. The house has every single thing you need utensil wise. Just a great place.! Thank you!

Zen House - a quiet place to relax

This is a beautiful house in a gorgeous area! The host is very friendly and gracious, and so are the locals. We could not have asked for better accommodations while in the area - everything we needed for a wonderful vacation was already here when we arrived. Lovely Home/Great Location/Impressed!

Dogs & I enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to walk dog. Great rental and location to ohiopyle, shops/ bike trail. Roomy house with 2 living areas, Kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms & furnished basement with couch chairs, card table /cards/ games. Upstairs games, cards, puzzles/puzzle board, many books. Extremely well supplied with many necessities for young children:such as high chair, gates, stairs and porch have clips to hook gates. Plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, glasses, extras & tools for cookouts/grill. Outdoor Adirondack chairs & large table in garage w/4 chairs and a ping pong table. Cooking & storage dishes, pots/pans,etc. Wine cooler. Full frig. cleaning supplies. Washer/dryer. So much supplies I can’t name them all. Great for family or 2 couples (or singles). Meant for multiple people to really enjoy themselves while visiting. Don’t miss the shops below house. Fantastic crafts and artwork and antiques. Great coffee shops/restaurants very close: Bittersweet; Fuel Cofe Works; Maywood Grille and also plenty at Ohiopyle.Confluence is worth the trip as Rivers Edge Cafe is fantastic. And Frank Lloyd Wrights homes. I’d definitely return in the future especially with friends. Thanks for hosting such a pleasant home.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this well-appointed house. It looked really new and it was very clean. The living areas were spacious with lots of comfortable seating for the 5 of us. The kitchen was big enough so that we could cook together. The front porch was a wonderful place to hang out and watch the sun set. The foosball table in the basement was a big hit. Cute shops within walking distance. Private drive to walk your dog and no other houses nearby made for a peaceful stay.Everyone agreed we'd love to return and explore more of the nearby attractions like Ohiopyle State Park and Falling Water.

Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. There was a small issue with the water pressure declining, but the owner was extremely responsive and had the problem fixed very quickly. It was definitely a great stay for our family. Thank you.
