A great, central location in the New River Gorge. Clear communication from the host, easy to find and access house (as long as you're comfortable walking down stairs), and a nice space for the four of us, especially the giant couch in the living room that was likely more comfortable than the beds. Lots of snacks and Keurig coffee pods were available as well as a coffee pot and maker for pour over. We were very happy with the place as a place to rest from our adventures.
Nice place to sit on the back porch and enjoy your coffee. House was clean and fully equipped. Nice coffee and snack bar. Host was friendly and gave tips for places to visit during our stay.
We only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay longer. The view from the unit was great. The accommodations were very clean. The location was just a few minutes from downtown Fayetteville, but were very out of the way. Nice and quite. Communications with the owner were easy and answered quickly. If your are looking to get away for a few days (or longer) this would be a great choice. Very close to the Gorge Visitor Center.
We had a little trouble locating the house since it was late at night when we got there, but Robert was helpful getting us there. House was great-quiet area, nice view out the back, stocked with lots of extras.
This was a great place to stay for our White Water Rafting trip with Ace Adventure Resort. Very cool, windy drive to the house and only 15 min from the town. Pretty scenery from the deck and the house was just great for my family of 6.
Property was lovely and very well stocked!! Nice location for visiting the National Park. Communication was great and very helpful. We would love to come back!
This was a good spot for our family of four adults. The hosts were responsive and polite. We very much appreciated the coffee & snacks, and Halo the cat was always there to greet us when we went out. We especially appreciated the lack of complex checkout chores that we've experienced elsewhere. A/C worked solidly as did the washer/dryer.One thing we did note, not that this is an item to rate the house poorly on, is that there are lot of winding, small roads to get to the property, which made one of our party car sick. And the house does appear to be a little older with squeaky beds and some doors that need care to be opened.
The property was the perfect place to stay to visit different areas of NRG national park. We hiked on both sides of the bridge, Grandview, and Thurmond. We loved the quiet location, being able to grill dinner, enjoy the deck, and the adorable feline host that visited with us outside.
This is a great place! The owners went above and beyond by providing coffee station and snack station! Kitchen is well appointed. The beds are smaller than we are used to but functional. Location is a little out of the way and at first hard to find.
The property is cozy and has lots of extra amenities, like a coffee and snack bar, and the kitchen had all we needed. The place is nicely decorated and had plenty of space for the five of us. We enjoyed sitting on the deck one night and watching the sunset. It is located close enough to Fayetteville to be able to get there in about 15 to 20 minutes, but is out in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle.
Great place to stay for our family of 4. The kids each had their own bedroom, and we had 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed our time in Fayetteville. There are great hikes, waterfalls and the Bridge Walk was amazing. It was worth the drive to Sandstone Falls. My family loved Halo the cat which is very friendly.
This was such a cute home near New River Gorge. The view was beautiful, and such a peaceful location. The hosts were very friendly and checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a great family vacation and made so many great memories!
A clean home with an organized kitchen and generous coffee and snacks! We enjoyed eating on the deck. As a bonus we had a great birdwatching experience from the deck! The house was spacious and perfectly accommodated the six of us. Location is very quiet. Hosts checked in with us and were very communicative. Thank you!
