Authentic Italian home
Loved this apartment! Roxana was a lovely host. Communication was excellent. She responded immediately before and during our stay. We were able to check in a bit early and drop our luggage off. She had a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us! We loved the styling of the house as it has a very authentic Italian vibe and really added to our vacation experience! The house looks just like the photos. There are beautiful flowers and plants all around the home and they are all very well cared for. The bed is super comfortable which really matters to my husband who has a bad back. There were plenty of extra blankets. We chose this apartment particularly for the location. Although the street is busy with people, it’s a very safe location and feels safe too. We didn’t worry at all about getting in late. It’s a one minute walk from the circle where taxis sit and about a 10-15 min walk from the train. Right next door there is a small grocery that carries, water bottles, wine, food, and really anything you could want. We stayed 2 weeks and so needed constant supplies. There is a culinary school about 4 doors down that has a beautiful courtyard out back and because they are students, the food is so good! Restaurants and stores line the street. The museum that holds the David statue is right across the street and the Duomo and the Santa Maria Fiore Cathedral is a 5 min walk. The apartment is right in the middle of every historic site in Florence. It’s perfect!
