We really enjoyed our stay here. There was enough space for two couples to stay comfortably. Be aware that the beds, specifically the couch bed, are quite hard. The hostess was friendly and helpful.
Points faibles : Communication, exactitude de lâannonce
The heat didnât work when I was there and I was so cold that I couldnât sleep. When I messaged the host, he said there was nothing he could do but that he would bring blankets. However, he never did show up. I had to take the cover off the couch to put on the bed and wear my clothes to sleep.
We were so excited to get back to Florence. When the concierge told us the locks were "tricky," we thought, "how hard can this be?" We're 2 PhDs, surely we can figure out how to open the apartment door, so off to the city we went. When we returned, we spent an hour trying to get into our apartment before we had to call maintenance. The man could not open the door easily and gave us another set of keys he could only get to unlock the door on some attempts (not all). We later learned the new set of keys did not include a key to the building door, so we were stuck in our apartment. It was late by then and 'Assistenza' could not be reached. Other problems in the apartment include: no hot water; the shower head leaks and is close to the bed so you hear dripping all night; 'couch' seat is so close to the floor, it is terribly uncomfortable; broken kitchen chair; and the apartment is missing basics such as dish towel, paper towels, pillow cases for extra pillows, etc. Because we couldn't get in and out of our apartment, we left after 1 night and found other accommodations. Mmega would not return our rental fee.
PS: We have enjoyed many rental experiences; this is the first negative review I've ever written.
