Very nice and spacious apartment in good location

Good place. Had AC which was nice. Did not appreciate the owners representative entering apartment while we were out and returning of the AC and lights. This made me feel uncomfortable and was unnecessary. Other than that, very nice and convenient location.

Home away from Home in Florence

A beautiful villa. all the city tax and cleaning funds were given to us with plenty of notification. we set a time and they came to pick it up. The noise from below was not that loud with the windows shut. We will definately book this villa with our next stay in Florence. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I never leave a bad review but as the other reviews stated they walk in without notice whatsoever demanding money. I had just woke up and I was walking around getting dressed when a lady just walked right it without even knocking! I have never felt more uncomfortable at a rental ever. They gave the wrong address as well. I was carrying a lot of luggage in the pouring rain looking for the wrong place. Communication was awful. Do yourself a favor and find a place with privacy. I will say the house was nice though.

Required to pay cleaning & tax in CASH with no warning

This property is as advertised, but our experience with the owner/property manager was beyond awkward once we arrived. First the positives–it is located within a 3 min. walk from parking & is easily walkable to the Uffizi, Duomo & restaurants. The street it is on attracts a young crowd in the evening that mingles in the streets, sits in doorways, etc. drinking & smoking. We could not hear them once inside, but if you are traveling with young children it may not be appropriate. We had to buy backup toilet paper (for 3 night stay) & dish soap. We would expect basics like this to be included. The larger bedroom has an on-suite bath, but it is tiny!!! The other bedroom uses a very large, nicely remodeled bathroom down the hall. I found it odd that there was no top sheet on the beds-only a comforter? VRBO said our c.card was to be charged in 2 payments. Owner told me he only charged the basic lodging fee on my card and I had to pay cash for the cleaning fee & tax upon arrival. I had to w/d more cash and pay fees for an int'l. transaction. The property manager came to the restaurant we were eating dinner at to collect the cash. I felt like some sort of drug deal was going down. It was VERY WEIRD. She was pleasant (Ilaria), but was put in an awkward spot. I've never had a VRBO experience quite like this before.
