The hotel is in a great neighborhood with grocery and pizza place across the street. 5 min walk to the Duomo square and everything else is very close. With the reasonable price this would rate as a 10/10 for us.

This is a great property if you are okay with an amazing location, barely away from the hustle, but close enough to walk to everything. It's basic with the smallest bathroom I've ever experienced. If I were larger than 5'10", not sure it would've worked. The shower was inches away from the toilet (!). But again, great location. Cool balcony and solarium. Surprisingly good breakfast And really good service. If you're wanting an amazing location and okay without a large fancy room, I can't recommend this enough

Must go up and down to leave key at 4th floor lobby each time you come and go(rooms on fl 1) it did not bother us, but no real shower. Shower head on wall next to toilet. Very small space if you need room. Good location. Very no thrills but everything needed. Think more hostel than hotel.

Clean room. Staff helpful especially concierge on duty at check in. Needed to climb a flight of stairs to then access the elevator - difficult with heavy suitcases. Why say there is an elevator when you still have to climb stairs??? Air conditioner extremely loud. Bathroom door did not close properly. Soundproofing very poor - could hear the neighbours on both sides and windows did not keep out loud noises from outside. Beds poor and pillows flat.

Clean, basic & well-located read!!

Hotel is basic, well-located & clean and yet quirky. Good for “only sleeping”which many travelers say they want. Baths are tiny! 4-5’ square. I’m leaving some instructions for those who visit after me. : There is an exterior button that no one tells you about to gain entrance to the building. About 6 stairs up for the elevator. Some steps DOWN 5/6 to get to your room. Elevator to the 4th floor is marked Hotel Boldoni. In & out marked “T” in elevator. Must leave your giant key whe going in and out to alert the housekeeping staff. Fresh towels daily. Front desk canneadily call taxi. (You csnnot gkag taxus in Florence.) Breakfast is free but badic. Anericsn coffee unless you ask for cappucino. Fruit cocktsil, breads & cheeses& juice + yogurt.

Hotel was clean but out dated. Location is great. Bathrooms are big only bad thing is the shower. Its in the middle of the bathroom. The whole bathroom gets wet. Its just a shower head in the middle of the bathroom.

Room reserved on Expedia was not available on the 1st of 3 nights. We had a room with one bed instead of two and the shower was in between the toilet and the sink so water was everywhere. The door frame was rotten. The next two days, we had the reserved room with a closed shower. The difference in the price for the room of the first night was never reimbursed. Other than that, the staff was polite and it is walking distance of all the sites. Breakfast was very good.

No working AC amid a heat wave!!!

Hotel was good, very well located, very clean, and spacious room. However, the air conditioning wasn't working and we were tricked into believing that it would be fixed, which completely ruined our stay. This was in the middle of a heat wave in Italy and staff seemed indifferent about our room not having a working AC (as advertised).

There is a nice view since rooms and breakfast are at 4th and 5th floor. we were allowed to have breakfast very early because of our early departure. The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions, which is very convenient. However, there are some homeless people near the entrance, which can create a sense of insecurity. The room was clean, but the bathroom didn’t have a proper shower—just a wall-mounted faucet. There were no blackout curtains, and a streetlamp outside kept the room bright all night. It rained during our stay, and water got into the room. Although we reported it, the staff didn’t believe us and only gave us a few rugs to manage the situation. The room had no amenities other than the air conditioning, which was very much appreciated during the heatwave. The breakfast staff was very friendly, though the breakfast itself could be significantly improved.

Location was close to many attractions. Grocery store located accross street to get snacks and drinks. Room was spacious with high ceilings. Bathroom was on the smaller side. Breakfast was average. Staff was helpful and friendly. Small elevator available otherwise you have to walk four fights of stairs to get to reception desk.
