Our two night stay at Horto Convento was very nice, from the friendly, helpful staff, to the comfortable bed, to the delicious breakfast. The property is located away from a busy street, in a lovely setting next to a church. If I had to note any issue at all, it would be the very narrow bathroom in our unit. There was a towel heater rack installed behind the door, so it could not be opened all the way, making it even more narrow. Not a big deal, just a design flaw. Overall, a very nice stay!

It was amazing. Fantastic location, away from the bustle of the more touristy areas but close enough to walk to those areas. Felt very safe, and it was quiet and clean. Exceptional breakfast!

Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The pictures online are completely misleading—the reality is nothing like what’s advertised. The hotel was extremely noisy, and we were unable to sleep the entire night. On top of that, the staff was rude and completely unhelpful when we raised our concerns. We decided we didn’t want to stay, but the hotel refused to refund our money. Every negative review you’re reading is absolutely accurate—we wish we had taken them more seriously before booking. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Save yourself the stress and disappointment.

Great location, at an arm’s lenght of the hustle and bustle of Florence. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely room, very quiet. The shower was quite small though. The breakfast was excellent.
