Okefenokee trip with river side cabin fun
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family enjoyed the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the outdoor during our visit to the Okefenokee Swamp. We relaxed on the porch, enjoyed the owls through the evening & perfect fishing fun for our son too. Very limited cell coverage so be prepared with directions & search ahead for activities information.

Cozy cabin on the river

Roughing in style
Publié le 9 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property is very rural, about 2 miles from the nearest paved road, (leave the sports car at home, it won't make it on the sand road, though my Toyota camry made it.) The house is on stilts with a significant climb up stairs. When you get inside it's cozy. A nice little living room and dining area, with a nice kitchen with plenty of pots pans and utensils. There's a wrap-around porch to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. And the scenery is beautiful. There's also a grill and a fire pit. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time there.

Tight quarters cold showers
Publié le 29 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayProperty was nice with it being on the river but the bedrooms are very small and no room for luggage. Shower only has hot water for about 2 minutes then pure cold. The porches were very nice. The cabin was crowded with 4 adults and a dog. We left 3 days early.
