We have stayed at Western Motel several times over the years, as it is a convenient spot to stay when making a trip to the Okefenokee Swamp. Motel/hotel lodgings are scarce in Folkston, but this motel has always been clean and comfortable, even though dated. If you just need working TV, lights, shower, good towels and a comfortable bed, you should be good to go here.

No problems whatsoever. Been to this hotel twice now and have been pleased both times.

Quiet, clean room. Helpful host. Programmed key needed re-program next morning. One electrical outlet held phone phone charger too loosely to allow charge.

Older but well kept property. Perfect for attending wedding down the road.

There were bugs and some other live critters in the drawer of the night stand. Wife was not happy.

Its a cheap motel and for the price there aren't any complaints from me.

It was just one night to break travel. Friendly & welcoming man on reception. Room reasonable size, comfortable beds. No coffee maker but there was a fridge & microwave. OK shower with lots of hot water. Could do with upgrading but OK. Shame pool out of action. Short walk to food outlets but a visit to the Okefenokee national wildlife refuge is a must.
