Luxury three bed, second floor apartment in a converted Benedictine Monastery set in 20 acres of private grounds on the shores of Loch Ness. In the heart of the Highlands, this sympathetic conversion is an ideal base for exploring all that Scotland has to offer. This luxury, spacious mezzanine apartment has been fitted to the highest specification. Tastefully decorated by Scottish interior design team ANTA coupled with stylish funishings and high specification fittings promise to make your stay both memorable and relaxing. There are a plethora of original features such as the majestic cathedral window in the open plan living area. This beautiful window floods the room with light with wonderful views over the cloisters. As a guest you will have access to all The Highland Club has to offer.

Dangerous property. Fell down the stairs both days that we stayed. They are extremely slick in the apartment. Smelled old and damp. Window in the family room would not go up so se had a draft the entire time. Photos are much better than the actual look. Very dark corridors not bright like the photos. Kind of depressing. They are a stickler about you arriving at a certain time.

This is an amazing space in a really cool area! Wished we could have stayed here longer to enjoy the pool. NOTE: the pool is only open from 9am-6pm and you sign up for a one hour time slot. By the time we had the option to sign in and reserve something there was nothing left that worked in our schedule. That was really the only disappointment.

Perfect stay at Fort augustus Abbey

We had an perfect stay at the Talisker apartement. The building nestled in a park on the shore of the Loch Ness is just amazing. The apartment was gorgeous and we enjoyed the beautiful pool, the tennis court, the gym... The staff was really kind and helpful. Communication really easy. We adored it! Highly recommanded.

It was a very spacious apartment but the building was awful and incredibly depressing.

Would not return or recommend. Not good for walking and a very unattractive building and town.

Great Apartment Near Loch Ness

This place was perfect for our family of Five. Wonderful onsite pool and restaurant and walking distance to beautiful downtown area. My kids loved the playground on the property.

Wunderbare Wohnung in einem alten Kloster

Die Wohnung Talisker im Highland Club ist ein toller Ort , um Ruhe zu bekommen. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet und nur weiter zu empfehlen. Wir waren 1 Woche mit 5 Erwachsenen dort und haben alle Orte die wir besuchen wollten innerhalb eines Umkreises von 2h via Auto besucht ( Skye, Fort Williams, Inverness, Whisky Destillerie Dalmore, Glenmorangie ) Der Service ist auch ausgezeichnet vom Highland Club . Was gemacht werden muß in der kompletten Anlage des Klosters ist das Fitnesszimmer. Dort sind die ein oder anderen Maschinen defekt . Dies als Anmerkung. Fazit: Nur zu empfehlen !

Perfect setting for a highland vacation

Apartment had a unique layout but the setting of the old Abbey was magical. The amenities were plenty. We enjoyed playing croquet and snooker, but the pool closes early so we didn't make it down. All of the furniture was comfortable and kitchen supplies were adequate for cooking. It was a short walk into town and the views of loch ness were spectacular. We would feel blessed to be able to come again.

Fantastische locatie, vriendelijke mensen, zaaaalig!

We werden heel goed onthaald met de vraag of we er al eens waren geweest en het gebouw dus al kenden... En na een paar dagen, begrepen we waarom de man die vraag stelde... Bij een volgend bezoek aan Schotland boeken we er zeker terug een appartementje! Alle ruimtes in het hele gebouw zijn goed georganiseerd, netjes en zeer gebruiksvriendelijk. We voelden ons er meteen thuis, een warme omgeving!
