Staff gave away our room to another guest before we arrived. She was going to make the other guest change rooms and have housekeeping come back to clean it. We agreed to accept a different room without the upgrades, then she started saying we hadn’t paid for the upgrades anyway. She was initially apologetic then started making up stories. The rooms were beautiful and very close to the beach. The staff was unfriendly and unpleasant.

The place was older than I’d expected and the years were visible. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Bed was horrible spring mattress that needed to be replaced or refreshed. Nice views and walking path.

We only stayed one night, so my review will be limited. The bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed for a good night’s rest. Parking was a little tight but overall a very nice place

Not so good.

For two out of three nights it sounded like someone was running power tools upstairs, above us from about 9pm up until midnight and starting again at 6am. It killed the peace that is normally at this place.

Decent room, bathroom needs upgrading for sure, puny toilet with a lid that slams shut. I could hear the tenants above us all night long, so not very quiet. No breakfast snacks or anything. Nice that it looks out on the coastline with an unobstructed view, and you can walk out off the back through a sliding door, plus it was easy to find. Expected a little bit better experience for the money.

Front desk staff was quick and friendly. There is a coffee and hot water machine in the lobby for coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Wonderful views and very short walk to the beach.

Joe the desk manager was hugely helpful and friendly, room had a great view onto the beach. Lots of easy parking, beds were comfy. Really nice lodge, would absolutely stay again
