Not that great

The valet took our bags and said he would be with us all the way to the room. Hee was not. Someone else delivered our bags. When we were at the check in we were being pressured to upgrade our room. We didn’t. The room was small for 3 adults but we stayed because we were exhausted from traveling. We found things on the floor that didn’t belong to us. The floor was gritty. Paint was pealing from the ceiling, there was soap scum in the tub. The next day we inquired at the front desk and produced the original reservation. We were originally put in an inferior room. We got moved to the bigger room that we booked and upgraded with a balcony. On the last night of our stay the refrigerator started leaking water and it was from nothing inside. We were given the valet parking and $50 credit for our inconvenience. This is certainly not the experience we had expected from the Riverside Hotel.

Beautiful property. Very convenient and walkable. I lived in the neighborhood for many years and chose to stay here during a recent trip back to Ft Lauderdale. Always something to do in the area. Funky Fish Shuttles made it very easy to get around.
