Peaceful getaway
Publié le 9 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect place for a peaceful getaway. House was extremely clean, beds were comfortable, house fully stocked with supplies for a worry free vacation. Back patio sitting by the pool was perfect from sunrise to sunset. Close to the beaches. We enjoyed lauderdale by the sea and pompano beach. Neighborhood was safe and neighbors were very friendly. Check in process was easy given a code prior to arrival. Would definitely stay again when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Perfect location

Above and beyond my expectations!

The pool and back yard are stunning and provided the much needed relaxation we were looking for. I will DEFINITELY stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in this area.

Spring Break

The owner/host were easy to communicate with and were very helpful when we came in early from a red eye flight! The house is very clean and very well appointed. The pool was perfect and the setting is such a different experience. The canal is so alive with a multitude of different species and each day brings a different experience. If you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale a rental car is a must. But the brewery down the road is good and has a large selection of food and drinks. We hope to return to this house because we all absolutely loved it!

JMU Spring Break
Publié le 18 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was beautiful! Just as listed. Sitting by the pool was a great way to start and end the day. Very serene! Landscape was amazing! Loved watching the geckos, birds and ducks. Beds were super comfy. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Definitely a must stay if you are heading to Ft. Lauderdale!

Overall an ok experience
Publié le 9 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall a nice home however there were a few issues: first there was a lack of decent cookware…the coating on the pots and pans were all peeling off. Second, there were several cockroaches found. Lastly, there was a very large dead…rotting iguana in the bushes to the left of the pool which produced a horrific odor. We were not able to enjoy sitting outside due to the smell.

Hello Nick, we are extremely surprised by your negative comments. With regard to the pots and pans, we never had this comment and they are always checked. We have now replaced them. In case you would have let us know during your stay, we would have replaced them for you. We however didn't hear anything. With regard to cockroaches, we have a monthly pest control service in place to avoid this and our cleaning team takes great care of our house, see the previous reviews. Yet we are in South Florida and this is sometimes just happens. With regard to the dead iguana, it unfortunately is impossible for us to influence outdoor life. Yet we are especially totally not amused by your comment as you make it sound it influenced your whole stay. This is not true, because you arrived on the 1st of March and made a note of the dead Iguana on the 8th of March, a day before your check out. We then removed it promptly. I believe your subjects are very small with regard to he total experience we deliver. Our house is in top condition and we maintain everything as good as possible and are there for guest directly, in case they make notice of any issues.

Heated Saltwater Pool
