A few things actually. We booked a suite with a patio but the staff couldn’t get the door open so they gave us a downgraded room and did not provide any credit to charge. We had to go back to front desk through times during the course of our stay to have our door keys reset. But the worst was how poorly management treated the staff Friday AM there was very very limited breakfast food as truck had not arrived. Instead of putting up a sign, offering apologies for the inconvenience, providing cover for staff, manager allowed the poor woman working the area to take the ongoing multiple questions and frustrations from guests all morning that had booked there partlydue to breakfast included. When I found the manager hiding behind front desk, he was dismissive and rude. Not his fault the truck hadn’t made it. Not concerned with employees taking the brunt. Blamed it on new ownership. All of which could be true, but a terrible lack of any leadership or professionalism. The staff was kind and caring, regardless of managers shortcomings.
