HOSTS - Cottage all to yourselves; there is another larger home on the property approximately 200 feet from the cottage that might be occupied during your stay

BATH - 2 baths; one bath has a walk-in shower and the other has a bathtub w/a shower
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped updated kitchen w/a Keurig
BREAKFAST - No breakfast but coffee and teas are provided
AMENITIES - Flatscreen in living area w/ Netflix, WiFi, wood burning stove (available winter months only), washer/dryer, front covered porch w/ seating a side deck w/ table chairs and a gas grill, fire pit, located on acreage

We had a great stay at Foxtrot Cottage. We had a visit from a beautiful fox our first evening while sitting on the porch. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The beauty and quiet was amazing. It’s centrally located to so many things.

PERFECT GETAWAY!

Foxtrot Farm is a perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Much better than those mini houses. You are removed from the hustle of downtown Fredricksburg yet just a short 5-10 minute drive. The exterior is an old farmhouse (which appealed to us) but the interior is upgarded with the latest amenities. Nice porches to kick back, enjoy wildlife, and listen to the wind. Owners very responsive, had no issues at all.

A magic Christmas getaway

This was our third stay at Foxtrot Farm over Christmas & it was just as lovely as ever. We love walking the property with our dog before cosying up by the wood burner inside. The cottage has all the mod cons you need for a home from home getaway including plenty in the kitchen to help prep a nice dinner. You will be pleasantly surprised when you step inside at the thoughtful decor & cleanliness. Love this place like it was our own & will keep coming back as long as we can.

Girls getaway

My niece and I came for a quick girls getaway. The house was extremely clean and bed was very comfy. Perfect location to be outside of town, but just close enough to run home to change or rest for a bit. Lots of deer and even spotted a fox. Our only complaints, there is another house on the property that's pretty close, which the description does not mention, and its very dark at night getting from your car to the house. Otherwise, this adorable cottage was our favorite part of the entire trip!

A Wonderful Cosy Christmas

A second Christmas for us at the wonderfully cosy cottage that is Foxtrot Farm. It might have been freakishly freezing temps for Texas but you wouldn't have known, the cottage was cosy and warm for our arrival and clear communication with GS about the expected weather meant we had no worries about any issues with the property. We particularly enjoyed walking round the beautiful property with our dog, watching the wildlife and warming up by the woodburner. We love this place and didn't want to leave. A home from home.

Fabulous Foxtrot Farm

Perfect place for a quiet getaway. Farmhouse situated on secluded ranch with abundant wildlife. Great place to sit on the porch, relax and enjoy the hill country views. House nicely renovated and comfortable with everything you need for your stay.

The house was beautiful and extremely clean. Perfect for two couples.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed, the bedding was of good quality as well as the bath products. It was a little further out of town that we would have liked but we enjoyed the peace and quiet the property offered. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the morning sipping our cofee.

Cute hill country cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this cute, modern country cottage. It is very conveniently located a short 10-minute drive from Main Street, Fredericksburg. You can go drive to the state parks, wineries, and Main Street easily from this location. We saw deer in the evenings on the property, the stars at night were clear and beautiful. Wi-Fi wasn't good, which was a little disappointing. But the amenities are modern with updated kitchen and bathrooms. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days, it was a great experience.

Really Lovely Setting

The property is the perfect distance from Fredericksburg if you want some quiet time. Its size was also perfect for two adult couples. Don't be fooled by the somewhat rustic exterior...the interior is modern and comfortable.

Wonderful visit!

Brought my sister and her husband to Fredericksburg to show them around. We wanted something a little secluded and this was perfect. Arrived to a cute cottage in a little wooded piece of property. Everything was so clean and airy when we walked in. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were super comfy and the towels were soft. When we arrived at night after dinner there were a ton of deer. I would highly recommend this place for a small family or couples. The tub floor is VERY SLIPPERY when wet and soapy so be careful and having to drop off keys was a slight inconvenience. A code entrance would be so much more convenient and some texture on the tub floor. Besides that we would def stay here again and again!

Cute, secluded place. Immaculately clean and decorated. The outdoor space was nice. However, there was a clog in the hallway bathroom tub. I messaged the owner during the trip and no response. This is the first place I’ve stayed where a message has gone unanswered. Otherwise, great property!

Wedding at The Venue at Rafter E

This VRBO was perfect for us to stay at for our sons wedding at The Venue at Rafter E. The location was perfect. We could run “home” and change or get anything we forgot. The house was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. It looks just like the pictures!!!! The beds were super comfortable after a long day!!! The quietness and beautiful scenery was perfect as well!!! I would recommend this place 100%!!!
