No one answered the phone when I called to say I would be arriving late. The lobby was under construction so breakfast was served in to-go bags. I understand that is completely out of staff's control, but the take out policy should have been communicated. The hotel lost power during the night (again, out of their control) but housekeeping started knocking on doors around 8:30 am because they could not access the computers to figure out which rooms had to be cleaned. Finally, they started vacuming the halls at 9:30 AM which, for a Sunday, seems too early. Especially since check out was 11. Staff were very friendly and doing the best they could with the collection of challenges.

I was very disappointed that the breakfast that I saw so many raves about which influenced our choice to stay was no longer available due to renovations. They did provide take and go bags. A notification about it was only on the actual hotel site so the travel sites didn’t really get updated. A big wall of blue tarp across from the front desk was surprising as we checked in. The room, though, was really nice and spacious. Very comfortable.

It sure would be nice if the motels featured on your site had updates to indicate..........the pool is closed due to construction; the breakfast is a sack with an apple and bagle because construction has shut down the eating area.....ditto for the business center. All three of those factors were reasons I opted for this motel. None of them were available.
