Beach Candy - Beachfront Family-Friendly Home!

Welcome home to Beach Candy, an expansive 2-story beachfront oasis located in Surfside Beach, an unspoiled fishing community conveniently located just south of Houston. The soaring two-story ceiling in this open floor plan provides gorgeous views of the water from almost every room of the house. With a large lot running from Blue Water Highway to the Gulf, guests have their own private drive. This home allows ample outdoor space for families to savor their time with their loved ones.

Family-owned and managed, Beach Candy offers personal touches such as flexible arrival and departure days, beds made upon arrival, and high-quality linens and towels. We provide coffee and tea for that first morning on the beach as well as staples such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, hand soap, and laundry and dishwashing detergent.

At Beach Candy, we provide all that guests desire for an enjoyable day outside and inside. For time at the beach, we supply plastic buckets and shovels, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Visitors can hang out in the expansive yard and play on our built-in washer game court or our bean bag game board. After a day at the beach, Beach Candy offers entertainment options such as high-speed internet, Xfinity cable TV, board games, puzzles, and a collection of books and DVD’s. Visitors will enjoy smart TVs in every bedroom.

One of its most inviting features, Beach Candy's large deck beckons guests with ample chairs and umbrellas. Visitors can walk out on the deck to enjoy the breeze on their face, the beautiful blue water, and the soothing melody of the Gulf waves. For those with small children, guests can close the gate to the stairs to keep the little ones safe. The panoramic view of the Gulf waits 24 hours a day.

Summer is not the only season to visit the coast. The offseason offers empty beaches, more affordable lodging, and an opportunity to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and slower pace without the crowds.

Very nice beach front property, we had 7 adults and 5 kids and were very comfortable Amy the owner was great at communicating with us to see if we needed anything or had any questions. The house was well accommodated with all the necessities, plus all the things we needed for time on the beach. Chairs, sand toys and boogie boards. Would most definitely stay here again.

February Getaway

Very nice. Loved beachfront view with crashing waves and breezes but Gulf water is muddy not clear blue. Great walking on beach but Texas beaches are open to the public and cars/trucks are allowed and a few did donuts. Drive in to Surfside was thru a lot of industrial and chemical plants. Did enjoy the stay as not many beachgoers in mid-February and had a quiet relaxing time.

Relaxing Fall Break

Beach Candy was the perfect spot for our relaxing Fall Break beach vaca! The house was just right for 2 families- even 3 small families would fit! The weather was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the beach and the back porch. We will definitely be back again!

Always a fabulous time!!

I can’t say enough good things about Beach Candy! I’m a multi-year renter and have such a great time each year. The house is always clean and beautifully laid out. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Tons of places to sit and hang out together both inside and out. Beach location is great. I take my 23 yr old son and his buddies down each year and it’s everyone’s favorite trip. They are great hosts and the consistency of each visit is great! Can’t recommend them enough! Ready to book for next year!

Beach Candy Family Trip

We had a wonderful time at this house! Everything was as listed, the house was clean, safe, and it had plenty of space for us all. Amy, the owner, was so kind and checked in on us to ensure our stay was as expected. She was also very easy to communicate with leading up to, and during, our stay. The garage was full of beach toys, chairs, and much more that we used daily. The beach cart was a happy bonus to help us haul everything back and forth. The beach itself was clean and patrolled regularly. The outdoor shower was perfect for the end of the day to rinse off at. There was plenty of privacy. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!

A trip to see our kids!!

This is an adorable beach house! The layout and open space worked perfectly for our family. Had everything we needed, including beach items. Super clean, well-decorated & even had new comforters (I think!) on all the beds! The upstairs deck is nice to enjoy in the mornings too. The only downside was the mosquitoes on the lower level outside- whew! But Amy was an amazing host :) always available & very helpful! Thank you for sharing your home.

Beach Vibe

This house was perfect for our family! Plenty of space and fully stocked with plenty of games, puzzles, and beach toys. The beach is just a short walk from the house so it was easy to make trips back and forth when the kids were ready for a break. We are definitely planning on a repeat visit in the future! Amy is an excellent host very nice and helpful.

Wild Waves at Surfside!

The property "Beach Candy" at Surfside Beach, TX, was exceptional in so many ways!! The house was equipped with top-notch kitchen appliances. Spacious, and tastefully decorated, open concept living spaces, with all the amenities of entertainment available throughout the house! We woke up to breathtaking views of sunrises over the Gulf. Spent many days on the beach, grilled dinners at sunsets and visited local restaurants and stores in the area...even a Buc-ee's close-by too!! We highly recommend this vacation home to anyone looking forward to a beautiful getaway! We'd definitely LOVE to come back someday!!

Best Rental Ever!

The most friendly hosts that I have experienced yet. The ease of check in to the easiest check out. The home is very welcoming and doesn't feel like a rental at all! It's as if a family member allowed us to use their home. It was very well equipped with everything you might like to have. The beach views and access was fantastic! Loved the outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Sunrises were amazing! My family and I would love to return. It was a great family vacation!!

Blaine Sisters Reunion 2023

This property was wonderful for my four sisters and I along with my son and his two friends. Very clean and cute inside. And the view is amazing of the beachfront from the deck. Perfectly located to shopping, restaurants and more. Rented a golf cart and was able to take my sisters out on the beach since they are in their 70s & 60s... The property manger Amy went above & beyond for my sister Robin celebrating her 72nd birthday with decorations & mimosa upon arrival !!! Thank You!! Thank You.... Amy, that made her day extra special. We are already planning our next trip to Beach Candy on Surfside Beach... Just Loved This Property!!

Beach Stress Relief

Easy to locate, looked just like the pictures. Clean, nicely decorated, A/C worked awesome in the extreme heat. Kitchen well stocked, very good TV instructions, big chairs on the deck for wave watching. Great suggestions for restaurants for several evening meals. Very very good communication with Amy before and during our stay. We had a lovely time.

Good Choice!

Beach Candy was a good choice! The house is in a great location right on the beach, but it also has a yard so you are not always walking in sand. The house was nicely decorated .The beds were very comfortable for a good nights sleep after being at the beach all day. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped although depending on your usage, you should bring extra paper products and trash bags. There is a garage full of beach toys, something for all ages. The upper deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the awesome views of the gulf. We loved our stay! Thank you.
