Publié le 17 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view from every window is spectacular, we enjoyed watching otters seals, Blue Heron, and a family of raccoons down by the water edge for hours during our stay. We found the house to be very clean and something comfortable However, we did find that the dining room table and chairs were a little bit uncomfortable
Other than that, we had a spectacular time

Return to Friday Harbor
Publié le 30 avr. 2023 sur HomeAway11 years ago we sold our home in Friday Harbor And this was our first return to the island. Not much has changed, but what has only makes it better. We rent a lot of vacation homes and this one is at the top of our list. Not only were the views stunning, but the home has many comfortable places to stop, sit and enjoy. The condition of the home was amazing and we hope to return soon.

Great get away!
Publié le 10 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis was a perfect house for two couples. Beautiful, clean and loved the remote location for privacy and quiet but easy access to anything you might want to do. Kitchen was the best equipped kitchen of any house we have ever rented. Highly recommend to anyone considering visiting the San Juan Island!

Magical!
Publié le 19 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayI would stay here again! The place is located in a magical spot ( no beach access) but the view and sunsets are awesome! Pros - private, very well stocked with essentials, easy check in and out and very sharp knifes!! Cons: both sofas need upgrades, lots of ants, only one 1/2 roll of paper towels

Horseshoe Bay Rental

Great location on San Juan Island. Very quiet and a beautiful setting.
I will add that I thought the $400 cleaning fee was excessive considering we paid $300 a night for 3 days.
This property does not have water access either.
I’d strongly recommend to stay here, just be aware of all the additional costs for this rental. The additional fees totaled what we paid for a 3 night stay.

It sounds like a relaxing time was had at Horseshoe Bay House! This is a lovely waterfront location. You are correct, as advertised, this home does not have water access and we make that as clear as possible on the listing. The total cost of the reservation is listed clearly before a booking can be completed.

A View Equal to Ten Years of Therapy!

Both times the check instructions were sent to us twice to be sure we got them. And both times, although we were informed that we could not check in early due to extra cleaning prep, we were texted several hours early and advised our house was ready. I can’t say HOW MUCH I appreciate that. It’s just over the top great customer service! The house itself is set way back on a secluded road and was just ridiculously beautiful- the view was worth ten years of therapy! I loved the minimalist decor Amd the attention to details like the soaps and plush towels. Just a phenomenal rental. I would never leave this house if it were mine!!!!’

Listing is not accurate

It is incredibly hard to be on the water, not have access or be able to walk anywhere. You are literally stuck in the home when you are there. It was also not very clean.

It is not advertised as having any beach access, and it is listed very clearly that this home does not have dock access. We are sorry these particular details were missed during the booking process and find it unreasonable that you would review this property so negatively. For future businesses that you interact with, we would kindly ask you to be reasonable in your actions. We manage other rental homes with beach and dock access, and next time we would be happy to assist with helping find the perfect location for you to enjoy.
