Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located just one mile from hundreds of miles of ATV trails, hiking trails, and Lyman Run State Park. Cherry Springs State park is 6 miles away with the dark skies viewable from the camp. Small stream on the property for family fishing. Stream is stocked with trout a couple times a year. High speed internet available.

This cabin was perfect and had all the amenities one could ask. The state park is just up the road and it does get dark at night at the cabin. We were fortunate enough to have a clear night with an amazing view of the milky way. Great place for those who want to stargaze and don't want to bother figuring out camping at Cherry Springs. The nearby town is quaint and you can find just about everything at the local supermarket. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing stay

Another nice vacation. Enjoy relaxing on the porch. Kids enjoyed going in the creek. First night it was clear and we could see lots of stars. Always enjoy are stay at the Lyman Run Cabin.

Sweet Cabin

This property is delightful. It was very clean and so well stocked. We appreciated the coffee as we forgot ours. I was really impressed with the amount of cooking utensils provided. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back again.

Nice cabin in a great location

A nice, clean cabin in a great location! Mazzie was super helpful and great at replying quickly to messages. Even gave me a call to direct me to the place when my GPS led me astray. Nice stream runs right beside the cabin. Enjoyed seeing fish and crayfish in the stream. Due to recent rains the water was too deep for my little ones to get in, but it would be nice to play in otherwise. Very conveniently located just down the road from the Lyman Run State Park which has a nice little beach area for kids to play in sand and swim. Cabin is well stocked with essentials. Mazzie provides easy-to-follow guides to the cabin and local area which she sends to you electronically and then also has printed out and available in the cabin. I didn't realize from the photos that the bunk beds do not have guard rails, so we didn't use those beds; we had enough space for our small family with just the two queen beds. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Potter County.

The location was great. The cabin was clean. It was a quiet getaway. The stars came down all the way to the horizon. Many forest birds serenaded us. The bedrooms lack headroom. The overhead bunk is perpendicular to the queen below. The bedrooms are small with very little room between the beds and walls. Mobility challenged, large, and tall people beware.

great location

this was our second trip to this cabin and it was a great experience as usual . the location and scenery are wonderful , cabin is very nice and clean . wifi surprisingly good for location. right at entrance to lyman run park so you can enjoy all the ATV/UTV riders coming and going .

Cute little cabin!

We spent a fun week visiting with relatives at another nearby cabin. Everything we needed was at hand in this sweet cabin. Love to stay in this part of PA, so beautiful and lots of options to enjoy the outdoors.

excellent rental!

We saw this property the first time we went to ride ATVs on stte lands and thought how great a location it was! It exceeded expectations and was a truly great weekend ! location was great as well as scenery , everything you could need was available and i would definitely recommend staying here . It is perfectly placed and a beautiful cabin!!

Camp and ride

We loved our stay at the Lyman Run cabin! Perfect access to ride our atvs on the local trails. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, listening to the creek, sitting by the campfire and looking at the stars. It was a great place to relax, disconnect, and reconnect with the beauty of nature. The cabin had everything we needed. The host was great to communicate with and very helpful when our plans changed slightly. Our family truly enjoyed staying at the cabin! We hope to stay again!

Relaxing vacation

This is our 2nd year staying at your cabin. We love it there. We like that there is a kitchen so we dont have to eat out every night. Our boys like going in the creek. We love that we can ride our atvs right from the cabin. Our last night there we had a clear night to look at the stars. We could see the Milky Way without binoculars. We saw a big bright metor and several smaller metors. Hope to be back next year.

Amazing weekend getaway

Wow!! Is all we have to say about our trip. Very peaceful and relaxing. Exactly what we needed The pictures do not do the cabin any justice, much bigger than what we expected. Mazzie even had s’mores kit ready and available. The little touches they provided just made you feel at home. If you forgot something, don’t worry they probably have it for you. My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend to watch the stars, fish and be with nature. We had an amazing weekend! We saw a black bear cub our first night walking across the bridge in front of the cabin, was an absolute amazing experience. Breathtaking drive through Lyman state forest, they have very clean beach to swim, fish and kayak. It rained Saturday afternoon but listening to it rain on the metal roof was relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Birthday getaway

House was nice. Just disapointed. No bed sheets or towels. Should let people know to bring your own. Its to late to know this when you see welcome book. I would have gladly brought my own.

Great rustic cabin

The cabin is in the middle of no where yet close to everything you would want. We wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be coming back to stay especially if we want to see more of the Elliott ness festival
