Was put in an old room dirty carpet and very far from elevator we are disabled ! Woke up to a sink full of dirt or poop ! Disgusting Pool needed to be skimmed full of ants and kids I. Pool with diapers ! Won’t be back !

quick get away

The property is great but i really wish they.would do something abt house keeping check out is at 12 and house keeping is trying to get into clean At 9 a.m. its happend the last 2 stays and is very annoying when you want to sleep in

The hotel facility is nice. We got to our room and it smelled like cigarette smoke and very musty. It got very bad in the middle of the night and I woke up feeling nauseous. The next morning I went to the front desk to ask if the hotel permitted smoking and asked for a different room (the bed was very uncomfortable) and was told they were sold out for Mustang Week (something I wasn’t aware of when I booked) and they were unable to move me. I was able to spend an additional $115 to switch to a balcony room which I did. That room smelled fresh and the bed was more comfortable. Changing rooms helped with the experience because I would have left 1 star if that hadn’t happened but it’s unfortunate that I had to pay an additional cost to stay in a room that was acceptable. Will I return, no way. There are better hotel options in Galveston like San Luis or the Tremont House. The dinner at Shearn’s was delicious and 5 stars! I will return to that restaurant on my next trip down.
