Beautiful old home in a great location close to the Strand and The Grand and good restaurants. Loved the rockers on the front porch and the kitchen and sitting room. The only drawback was the bathroom for the Fredericksburg room was tiny.

Great experience!

We discovered The Art district with restaurants and live music was only a .2 of a mile walk from the house. Another perk was sitting outside on the upstairs sun porch!

Great place for an Anniversary trip!

Beautiful historic home in Galveston turned into a hotel with 6 rooms. We stayed in the Paris room for 4 nights. It was close enough to walk to shopping and restaurants on the Strand and the pier. Short drive or trolley ride to the Seawall. The house is filled with antiques and on a very quiet street. We absolutely loved our trip.

An Experience

The 1890 Freeman house is definitely a place you want to stay. So much history you can feel just walking in. Didn’t experience any negative vibes, just felt like home and slept great. I Will be returning, that's for sure.
