This Howard Johnson location provides a good value as an affordable option for the area. My wife, twelve-year-old daughter and I had a comfortable stay for one night. We would book here again in the future.

Hotel and staff were what you would hope to expect. Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel rooms were clean and modern. My only complaint was with the pool. The fencing around the pool, although required, was too high and visually restrictive. More importantly, the pool was not being properly maintained. In the 4 days we were there it wasn’t vacuumed and the water was constantly cloudy. As a pool owner, it was not hygienically safe. They need to hire a pool maintenance company if they are not up to the task of properly maintaining it.

Old tired room but clean. Thinest, smallest towels I have ever seen. Despite cleanliness of rooms, windows and screens were filthy which drags the motel down greatly.

Property was nice. Breakfast offering was fair. Pool area could lose the tall plastic fencing. It’s too restrictive and not very attractive. Also, they need to hire someone to maintain and clean the pool. We were there for 4 nights and it wasn’t cleaned once. The water quality was also cloudy.

Not What We Thought..

Well lets just say this hotel chain has gone south. The musty room smells, carpet that felt like it had crazy glue on it, missing light sockets & I'll just leave it at that. Thank goodness for the staff who changed rooms for us but that unforgiving smell & no appealing. Washrooms look renovated, perhaps time for a room facelift.
