Amazing Views of Yellowstone Park & River! A 1/2 mile from YNP’s North Entrance.

Enjoy The Sound of The Yellowstone River and The Sights of Yellowstone and the surrounding mountains from this beautifully remodeled vacation rental. Located just around the corner from The North Gate of Yellowstone in Gardiner, Montana, this rental was lovingly remodeled and decorated to be comfortable, welcoming and stylish.
We named this rental Water House Two because the original wooden Water Tower used to stand on this property until the 1960's and the original stone Pump House is situated just below on the river. During the remodel and revision of the original house and the property we found old receipts from Gardiner Residents water payments and buried water house gear and parts.
Located in a nice neighborhood, everything is within walking distance. The quaint mountain town of Gardiner, Montana (Population 800) is the original entrance to Yellowstone National Park and the only entrance open all year.
You can stroll to dinner, shopping and to The Headquarters of Yellowstone Forever for Ranger and Naturalist Talks. The Boiling River, popular for soaking, is just inside the park gate and Mammoth Hot Springs is located 15 minutes from the house and the new Yellowstone Hot Springs is just North of Town, about 15 minutes.
This is a 1,200sq/ft. Lower Unit with another rental above. The house was originally one and with the new remodel, it has been made into two separate units. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and Bedroom 2 has two twin beds. The Kitchen has a Pantry, Senseo Coffee Maker (we include the coffee for you), Toaster, Microwave, Mixing Bowls, Picnic Basket, cooking and eating utensils.The Living Room has a 55" SmartTV, large comfy couch and oversize chair. You can Log into Your Prime, Netflix, Disney+, etc.. Accounts. We already have DirecTV Service for The TV. The bathroom has double sinks and a hair dryer and towels for your convenience. Canned lighting, French Doors and new windows have been installed to make the rental bright and to bring in the surroundings. Each bedroom has a window or windows that open to the river.
Parking is on the street. Please do not park in front of Quimby Cabin next door.
Easy private river access is on property.
Children 10 years old and up only unless previously approved.
* CHECK IN IS BETWEEN 4PM AND 9PM UNLESS A LATER TIME HAS BEEN ARRANGED WITH OWNERS.
* * PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A LOWER UNIT SO THERE MAY BE GUESTS UPSTAIRS AND YOU MAY BE ABLE TO HEAR FOOTSTEPS OR MOVEMENT ABOVE. We have done everything construction wise to damper noise.

Perfect home base for trips to Mammoth and the Lamar Valley (bears and wolf cubs for early risers!), and the town of Gardiner is delightful. Picturesque location on the Yellowstone River and the unit was spacious for four adults. Hosts were great communicators too!

We loved Gardiner & our rental was so nice! The river running next to us was beautiful! The house across the river actually had a mama and baby black bear in their yard two nights in a row! Had everything we needed in the kitchen was well stocked, only suggestion I would have is to have saran wrap and tinfoil otherwise our stay was absolutely wonderful!!

Best views in Gardiner. Rafted down the Yellowstone river, and loved it. Watched Elk swim across the river and feed nightly in the lawn across the river. We rented the lower unit, next time it will be the upper for the extra space and king size bed. The convenience of the entry into Yellowstone was perfect.

This property is clean, modern, and comfortable. It had everything we needed (shampoo, body soap, coffee, cooking oil, silverware, cookware, etc.), and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The property is about a mile from the Yellowstone entrance and was within walking distance of restaurants. The river view was fantastic. I would not recommend families with small children to stay here because the rail protecting the patio from the cliff overlooking the river could easily be breeched by a small child. Also, the property is not handicap accessible. When we first arrived, we did have trouble finding the property because the instructions were not clear. Having pointed out this minor inconvenience, we absolutely loved the property. We would certainly rebook on any future visits.Jim K

The property was very clean and updated. The location was excellent, walkable to town, and very close to the Yellowstone entrance. . However, the entry through the back gate for traveling guests was difficult to maneuver luggage through the gravel and passageway to the door was a little cluttered.

Exactly as described and right on the river. I enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning watching a small herd of elk across the river and listening to river run past. So peaceful and you could walk anywhere in town within minutes. Side note: it is the lower unit so upstairs guest can cause some noise with walking across the floor but it’s still five stars worthy in my book.

Great location. The view of the Yellowstone River was exceptional. We saw elk each night we sit out in the evening. check in was easy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Gardner area.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with perfect views of the Yellowstone River and the mountains. We spent our evenings and mornings sitting out enjoying the views. This property is also walking distance to restaurants and stores. We walked to the park entrance for pictures and drove into the park with no traffic. The property owners were accommodating. We had a pleasant stay while visiting Yellowstone Park.

Fantatic location

This property is just as described. It is walking distance to everything in downtown Gardiner and the Roosevelt Arch. The property is well maintained and updated. Had everything we needed. There were only 2 things to be aware of. The description says it is a bottom floor unit which means you could possibly hear the unit above. I dont know that it would have been a huge issue, but it wasnt just footsteps. The floorboards squeak as well. Unfortunately the couple above us woke early and from 5-630am everyday we heard very loud footsteps and squeaking from the floorboards. It was the same at night when my children were trying to sleep.The second is there are a decent amount of bugs that make their way into the unit. It is montana, so to be expected, but just be aware. My son was stung by something in the middle on the night while he was sleeping that caused his forearm to swell. There is not an urgent care or emergency room in gardiner so was a little worried about what might have happened if the swelling went further than his arm.

Great stay in Gardiner

Great location and views at this property. We were in walking distance to town and the property had awesome views of the river. It was very well stocked and clean with great attention to the little details. I loved that it also had a washer and dryer so that I could wash clothes during our trip. The only issue we had is that you can definitely hear the people staying above (which they do note in the description of the property). Overall, a great place to stay!

Fantastic View

This house was perfect. The view of the Yellowstone River was incredible from our bedroom and back patio. It was incredibly close to the north entrance of Yellowstone. It was within walking distance of some very sweet part of Gardiner and great restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic base for exploring Yellowstone.

We stayed three nights in the downstairs apartment and were delighted with it. Perched over the Yellowstone River with views up towards the park, the apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. Everything feels new and clean, the beds are super comfortable and you will find pretty much anything you might need for cooking.There is another apartment above but while we were there the sound from the tenants was not intrusive. It is a peaceful corner of town with easy walking access to the few shops and eateries (we would recommend Wonderland for their excellent food). We were three adults, and I think the place would be perfect for a family of four. I would definitely stay here again.
