We had a room in the 3rd floor. Located at the back of the hotel ( right outside the door by the pool). Overall very clean and daily room service ( beds made & new towels). Located a couple blocks up from parkway! Trolly stops right out front on a schedule! Very friendly staff! This is an older hotel with updates.

The whole experience was fun and stress-free. Check-in was simple, checkout just as well, the pool was very clean and fun! Restaurant was nice for the night we didn't want to go out. Will definitely stay again.

Housekeeping was amazing. The indoor pool area was more than expected and very nice. Beds were super comfortable. Coffee shop in the lobby served tasty coffee. Very convenient to walk to downtown Gatlinburg.

Overall, the Lodge was a good stay. I felt the property was good, clean, and well maintained. It’s not new, so don’t expect that. It has age. You can see that in the elevators. Some of them are shaky. The room was good. Little outdated, but clean and nice. Hot water and pressure was great. Heating/cooling worked well. The staff member at check-in was very friendly, and thorough. I’m glad I read reviews, beforehand, and picked an exterior room. My room was in back, quiet, and parking is much better in the back, with less cars around to damage my car. The pool area is humid, and smells of chlorine. Rooms facing the pool have to deal with that, as well as out of control kids, of course. This lodge is designed for families with kids. Thus, probably not my choice next time. The cafe/restaurant is nothing special, but it is convenient. So many other food choices outside the of the lodge to choose from. My two negatives are this: it is a hike to the Parkway. If you want to park your car, stay and walk everywhere, this is farther away than you think. Uphill coming from the Parkway. There are many choices, off the Parkway, that are closer. Second, housekeeping kept my bathroom clean, with fresh towels. But I know for a fact, they never changed the bed linens. I was there M-F, and all they did was remake the bed with the original linens still on to make it look like you got fresh linens. I can verify that.
