Welcome to our custom-built mountain retreat, crafted in fall 2017 and nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in the charming Chalet Village. Our cabin is only a half mile up the mountain from the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. Our cabin offers stunning mountain views from three spacious decks. The home features a king and queen bedroom, two full bathrooms with tiled showers and granite vanities, and a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress for extra comfort. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances, a regular drip coffee maker, granite countertops, and all the essentials you need for a cozy meal in.

Relax on the main deck, complete with a hot tub, gas grill, and seating, perfect for enjoying the breathtaking mountain scenery. For entertainment, enjoy a foosball table and smart TVs in every room. With hardwood floors throughout, a 50” 4K smart TV, and cathedral wood ceilings in the living room, you’ll feel right at home in this thoughtfully designed space.

We take extra steps to ensure cleanliness and safety, including enhanced sanitizing protocols and two of the observation decks have no access to ground level to keep wildlife at bay. Guests also have access to the Chalet Village Owners Club, just a 2-minute drive away to the closest one, which includes pools, tennis, basketball. New pickleball courts will be available by Memorial Day 2024. The pools are outdoor pools so they are open from Memorial Day - Labor Day.

To make your stay effortless, we provide all linens, towels, and a starter supply of essentials like soap and paper products. With high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming capabilities on all smart TVs, you can stay connected while enjoying your mountain escape. We pride ourselves on offering a clean, welcoming home and will personally check in with you upon arrival to ensure your satisfaction.

We hope you’ll choose our cabin for a peaceful, enjoyable getaway. Smoking and pets are not permitted to maintain a healthy environment for all guests.

My family of 4 ( adults) stayed here the week before Christmas. The cabin was beautiful, clean and easy to get to. It’s also very convenient and close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will definitely return for our next trip. Andy the host was Awesome and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He also answered us back with any questions in a timely manor. We didn’t get to see any bears on this trip at the cabin but did see 1 a couple of miles down the road :)

The house itself was nice. Washer & dryer excellent. Stove and Refrig. will need attention soon. Microwave, coffeemaker good. Beds nice. Towels need replaced. We enjoyed the view, however, we didn't realize just how high up the mountain we were. It was a 4 1/2 minute drive up to the rental by car, which was of concern to us (our car), but we made it. The t.v.'s and WiFi were excellent. We've stayed in better homes & also worse. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 rating. Andy was helpful as host. It was nearby to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg (and Dollywood). If you want a steep climb and to be ON THE SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN, this place is for you. The view was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay but could share a few suggestions. The clock above the fireplace did not work. Not many washcloths were left. Wish a solution to getting in and out of the tubs would be added. The view was nice but the weather didn’t cooperate but the fall colors were beautiful.

Our trip to the Smokys and Gatlinburg was wonderful. The cabin we stayed at (Bear Pad) was very nice. Perfect for 2 people. Andy, our host was helpful and kind. Coming back from Gatlinburg one day there we're 5 bears in the yard. They were there long enough for us to get in the cabin, quickly, to the balcony and get some great pictures. All in all a wonderful stay!

Very nice stay! Enjoyed watching the sun rise over the mountains each morning (on upper and lower deck)The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The setting was absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed the stunning sunrise views. The location was near the Smokey Mt. National Park, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge which was really convenient. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and had most everything we needed for the week, which we appreciated. We enjoyed all the available amenities on site. Having the trolley service (available near the village Welcome Center) was an unexpected bonus too! We would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to get away to the stunning Smokey Mountains.

This is a beautiful home for your stay. Very clean and well furnished. An absolutely amazing view of the mountains. Location is not hard to get to and close to all attractions. My family had a great time. We are planning to go back in the nearFuture. I would highly recommend this location.
