Historic hotel in the middle of Georgetown with plenty of dining and drinking options nearby, walkable to most of the historic spots on the island. Highly recommended if you want to experience living the tradition Penang culture. Excellent restaurant serving Peranakan food as well

A little Gem in Georgetown

A beautiful authentic hotel in the heart of Georgetown. The staff are wonderful and made our stay easy with any request always met with a can do attitude.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Very walkable area, restaurants and bars are very close. Loved the rooftop bar across the road. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the pool was lovely and refreshing. Such a historical, classic hotel.

Nice hotel, well located.

This is a very good hotel well located in the heart of Georgetown, close to all the sites. We did not find it noisy as some have commented. It is a heritage property which has its great charms and also some limitations. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, but quite small. There is a very welcome pool. And the restaurant provides a decent breakfast. There are not many places to sit together as a family in the evenings, as the pool area is locked at 7pm.

Great hotel

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were friendly cans helpful. The room had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I didn’t use the swimming pool but it looked very clean, evetywhere was very clean.

What a peach of a hotel, you're treated brilliantly by all the staff, they cannot do enough to assist you. Breakfast is lovely with a selection of choices, didn't try the restaurant in the evening as was too busy trying the multitude of dining options around George Town. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Jewel in George Town

I loved this boutique hotel. The building is very pretty, the service is excellent, special thanks to Dev, he goes out of his way to make your stay perfect. The location is perfect, breakfast is just ok but overall it’s a an amazing place. I definitely recommend this place.

Yeng Keng Excellence

The Yeng Keng is an excellent hotel in a superb location in Penang. The decoration is beautiful, with very comfortable furnishings and it i Is in a perfect location in the heart of the city. We had a medical emergency here and the staff went out of their way to help and accommodate us for a longer stay.
