Property is very nice, but the staff is excellent! Couldn't have asked for nicer staff. Power was out in the entire valley when we arrived, but the wonderful desk lady got us into our room, kept us updated and got us room keys as soon as possible! Service with a smile is priceless!

Rooms are very dated. First room reeked of cigarette smoke and we were moved after complaining. Desk clerk was very nice but room dusty- air conditioner blew dust when turned on, soap scum on bathtub from previous guest. Electrical outlets did not work on one wall and the refrigerator had to be unplugged for the tv to be plugged in.

The Georgetown Lodge was within walking distance or a short drive to local restaurants. Georgetown Lake was also a nice stop and view, and there's a brewery was right by it. My room smelled like cigarettes and the mattresses were torn and stained as well as some trim issues on the wall by the floor.

I wish I could’ve given this place a solid 4 or a 5. I think a 3-Star rating suitable because of the overall quality, it’s outdated but not terrible for a lodge in the mountains. My main issue is the false advertising on the “complimentary breakfast.” It’s hardly a full breakfast. They served waffles, packaged muffins and the coffee was subpar. The young girl working front desk was very sweet and did her best but you can tell there’s a slight disconnect with the other staff members. A little bit more care and consideration will go a long way! My suggestion would be to either offer more options for breakfast or if it’s just waffles, turn it into a waffle bar where you can add your own toppings with lots of options.

Where to start. The photos of the place are hugely deceptive. They are the BEST view that would ever be possible. The room was dark and depressing. The lobby filled with boxes for some reason. Every trash can overflowing. To say they provide a breakfast is adorable. I had to replace a battery in the fire alarm late at night due to it chirping. I went to the lobby to get it resolved, and the person said "What should I do about it?" What else is there to say?
