If I can rate it a zero I would. The staff was rude, no one answers the phone, we stood waiting to check in and nobody addressed us. The sheets were not change and the staff had an attitude to change them at our request. The hotel was nice enough but the staff needs training. The guests are the reason they are employed and they need to make the guests feel welcomed.

My cousin and I stayed at Princess July 11 -14th room #612. Someone walked into our room at 2:30am and turned on the lights the first night we stayed there. I called the front desk and the receptionist at that time said they will relate the complaint to the manager at 8:30am but did not. I went down and follow-up in the morning before going for breakfast. I spoke to the manager who expressed to me that no one told her anything. I am extremely disappointed that this matter was handled as though it is no issue. Me and my family travel to Guyana frequently but usually stayed at Grand Coastal. This was our first stay at Princess because we had a function to attend in West Demerara and the PPP/C fundraiser dinner which took place at Princess on Saturday July 12th. Because of the way this incident was handled I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. I understand human error since we switched room, but this should have been handled with respect for your guests. No one even reached out to us afterwards. We are also Club Wyndham owners and are extremely DISAPPOINTED and will complin to them also. Hopefully these kinds of hotel staff mistakes will be handled better in the future.

Worst hotel ever

We had 3 rooms booked and all rooms had to be changed due to mold, ac broken, my daughter was in the bathroom when the lock broke, bad smell like a dead rat, or cleaning of the room was so bad we couldn’t stay in it. We ended up buying bleach and cleaning the room our self’s. Roaches coming come from ac vent or refrigerator. Mold on wall and bathrooms. The toilet had poop on under the seat before we even used it. The team members didn’t do anything to help cleaning crew manager ask if things are better but I don’t understand how something could be better if you don’t clean no one even came into the room to clean.

The hotel needs renovation. Whoever is cleaning the rooms are not doing a good job, the sink and the riser Ali the toilets are not being clean properly. They need improvement in keeping the place clean. Breakfast was good. I payed for an extra night on the same day I was supposed to check out, because my fl was 1159 at night. They did not clean my room. I also want to say something about Expedia. The last time I booked with then in the cozy apartment with pool in Sophia , Georgetown, Guyana , the place was a garbage. I made several complaints and they still have that place on their website. It’s a scam and bad neighborhood. They are also on travel best and you cannot rate it on Expedia or Travel next. Please be aware.
