It offers a lush, unique and warm space where you can spend a pleasant time with friends or family: while sitting by the fire, looking for a private place to read or just to relax. The romantic house is in traditional Flemish style. The old farmhouse has been restored preserving the original architectural structures and the installation of all the modern necessities. A very stable construction with oak beamed ceilings and oak floors very tastefully, lightly and soberly converted.

It has 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. There are two living rooms, two relaxation rooms, a fireplace, a wine cellar and with spectacular light-filled kitchen with all comfort. Outside is a sunny walled courtyard, a garden with many flowers and a large covered seating area in traditional style with outdoor fireplace and BBQ.

The entrance hall with separate toilet and laundry room with washer and dryer leads to a well-lit living room with a fireplace and south views of the courtyard and garden. Next door is a well-equipped kitchen (including espresso machine and conventional oven). A spiral staircase leads to a beautiful wine and beer cellar. There is a family dining table in front of the window where you can have breakfast in the sun. The kitchen also leads to the second living room with a large oak table where you can dine more formally. This cozy room features plenty of seating, a wood-fired stove and cable TV. Further back you walk through the relaxation room with sliding door with views of the garden. Next is the romantic master bedroom with a spectacular bathroom including freestanding bath and shower and toilet.

Above the entrance hall are 5 bedrooms, one of which is the large and comfortable attic suite, with its own lounge and mezzanine.

There is also a Relax, or lounge on the first floor.

The garden is very cozy as it is walled and in an authentic style, planted with mature roses, boxwood and flowers. You sit there completely private. You can choose to sit at one of the two sunny terraces or in the shade under the covered patio with fireplace and BBQ. Firewood is provided free of charge. In the rental price, there are 12 bikes available and WiFi in almost all rooms.

Bedroom 5 on the second floor: one double and one single bed. This room also has a mezzanine with a twin bed. This room is large enough to add another bed on demand. The sink is in the room, en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.

From Monday to Thursday can be lived in the house with one or a few bedrooms, so it is ideal for a smaller group at an adjusted price (for two people from 199 €). Perfect for a romantic mid-week for 2!

The kitchen leads to another living room and a second, where you can dine more formally. This cozy room has lots of seating, a wood fired stove and cable TV. Completing the ground floor and also overlooking the garden is the master bedroom with a spectacular en-suite including free standing bath and wet-room shower. There are a further 5 en-suite bedrooms upstairs, one of which is a large and comfortable attic suite, with private lounge and mezzanine.

The walled garden is extremely private and is planted in an English garden style with mature roses and box. You can sit at one of the 2 sunny terraces or under the covered terrace with open fireplace and BBQ. Fire wood is provided. We can also provide WiFi and covers the majority of the house.

Tienen is the nearest city, 5km away and has supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There is also a smaller supermarket just 2.5km away. Fresh bread and pastries are available from the excellent baker at the end of the street.
