We would not recommend this place. The house was in derelict condition: messy common areas cluttered with boxes, old appliances, pieces of furniture, host's laundry; dirty walls and carpets, carpets ripped and fixed with a tape; smell of mold; trash in the entrance alley,... There is one bathroom with old shower, sink and toilet that is shared between several rooms. This is not clearly stated on Expedia, you have to look at the fine print to find it out. Breakfast is served on a communal table that is too small to accommodate all guests. You may have to wait or eat on a sofa. The food is copious but with poor quality ingredients. The interactions with the host made us feel uncomfortable. He was essentially complaining about other guests, proposed a beer to our underage son and did not provided clear answer to questions like time of the breakfast, number of people using the same bathroom or time to get to the train station.

Our stay was really nice, Tom is very welcoming and ready to help, the room was good, bathroom in the room, and breakfast like in family. Thank yo for all and see you in the future I guess.

Peaceful victorian house for visiting Glasgow

Lovely victorian house in a quiet neighbour hood. We only found out the following morning that our bathroom was shared with another room - must have missed this in the communication somewhere. 30 minutes walk to the centre past the Tennents brewery, the cathedral and necropolis are a bit closer.

Hébergement situé assez loin des commodités. Petit-déjeuner basique. Rangement et confort de la maison à revoir: nombreux objets présents dans les pièces communes dont aspirateurs. Moquette mal coupée à plusieurs endroits du salon et de la chambre (génant pour la porte du frigo dans la chambre). Hôtes font le ménage des chambres et petit-déjeuner des clients en même temps (couettes et aspirateurs dans le couloir, aller-retour entre des sanitaires et la cuisine): est-ce que l'hygiène est respectée ?

Très bien , pas loin du centre ville 15 mins à pieds , hôte très gentil , à l’écoute , petit déjeuner parfait . Le seul petit point en moins c’est le retour du centre ville à pieds et de nuit …. Mieux vaut prendre un taxi ou suivre le chemin de Tom … On a pris le chemin indiqué par le gps et l’ on a traversé un quartier où on ne sent pas très à l’aise . On recommande
