Very nice place to stay in Golden.
Posted Jul. 14, 2020 on HotelsShari was an amazing host, very friendly and knowing. She suggested a few places to visit and see.
The room was very clean and comfortable. I was alone on the floor, so I had the shared bathroom for myself. Otherwise I'd have had to share.
The Internet was fast.
Because of COVID there was no breakfast but Shari made sandwiches and a lunch box. That was very kind of her.

As you know we are doing things a bit differently during the COVID for example every room will have their own bathroom, and a bag breakfast to start the day. We stayed in a very comfortable room with free wi-fi. Breakfast was bacon\eggs and cooked to order. Our host was very kind and provided us with a room with its own sink and toilet of the bedroom. She had kindly switched rooms for us after I had contacted her about a mistake I had made while booking on expedia. Price was great.

Hosting of a different kind

Good breakfast.
Disadvantages: Shared bathroom with other guests ... Overall not bad.
Golden's distance from attractions.
We really enjoyed it.

We had an amazing stay at Country Comfort! Shari and Wendell were amazing hosts, offering delicious breakfasts in the morning as well as suggestions and recommendations for food and activities in the area. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with a crackling fire in the fireplace the night we arrived in the common area downstairs. Golden was a perfect spot to explore Yoho! We would highly recommend their beautiful home and look forward to staying again when we come back to the Canadian Rockies! Thank you again!
