Very comfortable and clean. Handy having restaurant downstairs. Perfect place to stay on the way home to Brisbane. Only one thing of note, and that is that the toilet doors open inwards and there is no room to walk in because the toilet is in the way. Otherwise loved it and would definitely stay again

Delicious meals in the bistro downstairs. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but bathroom door was broken. My husband was able to fix the door and the Manager shouted us a round of drinks at the bar which we really appreciated. The beer garden at the pub was beautiful with jasmine flowers everywhere!

The “royal” hotel closes on Kings birthday! We were called at 2 wanting to know when we would arrive, because they were closing!! I said we were at least two hours away and what about the bistro for dinner; NO we are closing early it’s a public holiday. What hotel closes on a PH???? Our key was left in potplant. Going in back way wasn’t pleasant. Room was ok. One little soap,nothing else. No washers. No extra pillows. Very low grade tea and coffee. Not worth what we paid. Very disappointing.

Hi Deborah,We are sorry that your stay with us was not to your standards. As you can appreciate, the hotel industry traditionally only closes for 2 public holidays a year. Given our low occupancy rate on the King's Birthday, Management took the rare opportunity to close early and hold a staff team building exercise to acknowledge and reward their hard work.Regards,Management.
