Highly recommended.

Front Office staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Apartment was clean, housekeeping were efficient. Overall good stay. Very close to Yumbo and shops close by.

Location is excellent. Pool area very good but needs some atmosphere. Flat has not been updated since it was built. Kitchen falling apart. Cupboards etc dirty. Bathroom ancient but works. Good space, good views. Balcony doors do not lock. Will not be back. Plenty of more modern apartments around.Reception friendly

Never Again

Having not stayed here for a number of years, I was so disappointed. The reception staff were very unfriendly on arrival. On getting to the room, I was opened the door to be met with the smell of sewage from the plug holes. Curtains were hanging off railings, furniture was very dated and uncomfortable. Overall the apartment was over rated and over priced. I stayed for 1 of the 7 nights and the following morning I booked into somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone wanting a comfortable clean apartment. Also the noise from locals living in the block was bad. Especially late at night.

Good service however, can’t bring family to room

We were travelling with another family (we had separate hotels) and they would not let us bring the other family up in the rooms. However, their service was good and they were happy to help. You have to wear these irratating waist bands, kind of like the ones you get when you go to a theme park.

My first stay at the Barbados Apartments

The Barbados is very well located near the Yumbo and transport links. The apartments are large, clean, 2 bedrooms and have a well equipped kitchen. There are safe deposit boxes available near reception. The staff were all very helpful.

You pay for what you get Very clean and cleaned daily. A little noises at night at the front bedroom but that is beacausr of the area. Needs updating and ancient TV

Basic but good

It's basic but does everything you need it to do - stayed here several times. Pool is nice and having two bedrooms is great. The apartments are clean but could perhaps do with some modernisation. Very close to yumbo centre.

Ok hotel good amenities.

Basic hotel with pleasant staff. Quick to act when light in bedroom blew. Surprised to see a microwave, coffee machine and toaster in room at no extra cost. Bed basic but hard. Hotel in middle of tourist area so quite noisy. Overall a pleasant stay but wouldn’t recommend if you want a quiet night.

This hotel was in a good location-close to bars and restaurants and within walking distance of the sand dunes and beach. The rooms were spacious and we found the facilities to be more than adequate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would return!

Good clean Hotel in the heart of the town.

I stayed here with my girlfriend and our 3 daughters. When I booked this hotel I was sceptical on the reviews and am glad I went with my decesion. The overall stay was really good. The pool was cleaned every day without fail and was fresh water pool not salty like some hotels. It had a poolside bar which sold all food and drink. Plenty of sunbeds and 24hr check in. All rooms have a view of the pool. My kids aged 14,12 and 4 loved it and there were other familys here. So close to everything.
