The Base Camp is a ski-in/out, 2 bedroom/2 bath condo that offers the best of Granby Ranch year round! This lovely home is in an ideal location, steps from the base lodge, which allows for quick access to the ski lifts, hiking and biking trails, world class golfing and fishing. Just head downstairs and out the back door to begin your ski or bike adventures! Perfect for families, this property sleeps up to 6 adults plus two additional children on a provided air mattress and pack-n-play.

We are located remotely, but will be happy to connect with you via email, text or phone anytime to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay! We also have local resources standing by, if needed.

Located just 25 minutes past Winter Park on highway 40, Granby Ranch is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We chose this location due to the significant number of activities available year-round and the relaxing atmosphere due to the absence of large crowds found at the larger resorts. Whether it's skiing, tubing, biking, golfing, fishing or just kicking back and relaxing, you can find it all here in Granby Ranch.

Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels, and linens. Parking for one vehicle is available in the heated garage below the complex. A storage locker for ski or and golf equipment is available for your use in the locker room on the first level. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, balcony and grill are available for your full use. The community pool, located next to the condo complex, is available for guest use and features a heated pool and hot tub that are available year-round.

Granby Ranch has recently changed their policy for guest use of the community pool and community trails. Here are the details:

Pool: If you would like to use the community pool or hot tub, you will need to purchase a daily guest pass at the pool for $20 per person/per day. Children 8 and under are free and this also includes access to the clubhouse, game room and fitness center. For a pass to be issued you must provide proof that you are staying in this home. The welcome email or the confirmation email, showing the address, should suffice.

Trails: Granby Ranch is a little different from other ski resorts on federal land. Consisting of trails on primarily private land, all guests riding or hiking on either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Rates and tickets are available on the Granby Ranch website. One exception to this requirement is the Granby-to-Fraser trail, which does not require a pass or waiver.

Located within the Base Camp One condo building, The Base Camp has so much to offer. This spacious home has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and everything you need for a comfortable stay (updated finishes, tasteful furniture and modern electronics). Perfect for families, this property sleeps up to 6 adults plus two additional children on a provided air mattress and pack-n-play. Parking is a breeze with the heated underground garage. You can arrive at Granby Ranch, park your car, unload your bags on a luggage cart and take the elevator up to the unit. No bundling up and trudging through the ice and snow to unload for your vacation.

The condo includes a gas fireplace, spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and cozy living area that provides ample room for your group to lounge. It’s warm, upgraded finishes and cozy furnishings provide a creative, homey touch to this mountain getaway. A balcony overlooking the ski hill provides space to fire up the grill or relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

After a long day on the slopes, you will find convenient storage for your gear with a dedicated storage locker available for your use on the main level of the complex. Once inside, you’ll be ready to relax and enjoy your favorite show on one of the 2 TVs in the main living area or master bedroom.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances and an outdoor grill. Included in the kitchen are supplies for cooking and baking, including utensils and knives. Dishes and glassware, as well as a crock pot and a toaster are also in this fully stocked kitchen. There are basic spices, as well as a k-cup machine and a regular coffee maker.

Sleeping arrangements:
- Master (sleeps 2): features a king size bed, connected bathroom and TV
- 2nd bedroom (sleeps up to 3): twin over full bunk beds, twin trundle, pack-n-play and optional air mattress
- Living Area (sleeps 3): Sleeper sofa in living area and provided twin air mattress in closet
- This home has 2 full bathrooms, both include a tub and shower

The location can't be beat. We love the convenience of being right at the base of the Ski Granby Resort. During all seasons, you are steps away from all the events and activities that the mountain provides. We love sitting on the back porch and having a view of the ski mountain.

What makes your home especially unique?

The fact that you are literally steps away from the lifts at Sky Granby. With the heated underground garage you can arrive at Granby Ranch, park your car, unload your bags on a luggage cart and take the elevator up to the unit. No bundling up and trudging through the ice and snow to unload for your vacation.

Why do you think guests will enjoy this location?

The unit is located at the base of Ski Granby Ranch where you can take in skiing, swimming, snowshoeing, fat biking, fly fishing or golfing. All these activities are literally steps away and don't require you to get into your car. It is located within 25 minutes of world class skiing at winter park, 25 minutes to the entrance to the West entrance of Rocky Mountain national park and 25 minutes to Grand Lake and Granby Lake.

The accomodations were perfect for my daughter's wedding! Michael from McAdams was very attentive in making sure the checkin went smoothly. The condo was clean and tidy. The location allowed us to see the progress of the reception and allowed easy access to parking and the wedding festivities.

The convenience and comfort to attend a wedding at Base Camp could not have been better! With all the wedding events and a bistro and coffee bar right next door, we had no need to use the kitchen so have no comment on it, but parking, elevator and generous space in the apartment made for a wonderful visit. Excellent slopeside stay

This slopeside condo fit our group perfectly. The rooms were decorated so cute and the beds were comfy! The view of the lift and ski runs were great from the balcony and the close proximity to the elevator made coming in from a long day of skiing easy! Our hosts were fantastic, and they provided all the info we needed for a smooth and easy check in as well as a great stay!

This is our 3rd time staying at Base Camp and this was the nicest unit we’ve stayed in. The unit was well stocked and had great views of the lifts. The property manager was super responsive and easy to work with. We would happily stay here again! It was perfect for our family ski trip!

Another sweet stay at BaseCampOne! We usually rent the 3 BR condos at BaseCamp but this 2 BR unit worked just as well. The bed situation in the 2nd bedroom is great: a single over a double bunk with a trundle!

Overall great stay

This is our fourth time at Granby Ranch, first time at this property. We loved the location of the condo since the balcony faces towards ski lift. Owner was super responsive. The condo was clean with the exception of dust on tabletops and there were two coffee cups in the cup oars that had coffee drips on the side. Obviously the housekeeper just rinsed and placed ba onion cabinet without washing. Tons on condiments, spices, etc. We didn’t have to use what we brought.

Christmas 2023

The host is great, he checked in to make sure everything was ok. He made sure my family had a great Christmas. My kid and grandkids another condo, but being on slope side we were able to sit on the balcony and watch them ski. They could ski up to us and we could toss them water and snacks and they were back skiing. The condo was great and the host was great. This is our 3rd to Granby, this condo was the best location.

Excellent Location - Excellent Communication - Would Stay Here Again

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo overlooking Granby Ranch Ski Lifts. It was convenient to have the locker to store equipment and the parking garage is a bonus. Fairly large 2 bedroom condo. Plenty of quality cooking items and upgraded appliances. Huge bathrooms. We truly loved our stay here.

Great location and views

We stayed here for spring break 2023. We skied several days and the location of the condo was ideal for us, steps away from the main chair lift and ski lodge with a great view of the ski resort from the deck. We skied from open to close each day so the included outdoor pool and hot tub was a great way to wind down each day. The parking garage is climate controlled which is an added benefit. We’ve already booked our 2024 trip!

Great condo with great views

This is a spacious and clean condo with a perfect location - the balcony faces the ski lift and Blue Bird Bistro. We rented this for our stay for a wedding and this was a perfect choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Long summer weekend for wedding in the mountains

The owner was easy to communicate with except when either of us had poor cell reception which is often in the mountains but not his fault. The condo is well stocked but we did not do any cooking as we were visiting for a wedding weekend. The shower has some mildew but the owner said he would contact the cleaning crew to remove this. The master bed is very comfortable! There are plenty of towels. The location is close to many hiking options.

Great 2BR 2BA condo at base camp one in Granby

We stayed a full week at this property. Very clean, modern, updated finishes. Very well stocked kitchen, the owner supplies high end fans to keep cool in the summer. Excellent view onto the slope which during summer means: concerts! Great communication with owner and easy check-in and check-out. You can't go wrong with the location or this unit. Would easily stay here again next year.
