Beautiful spacious villa with a private swimming pool with 3 loungers. We stayed in number 2 with enough parking place and lots of privacy. What a great place for our family with kids. It’s really clean and well equipped with wash machine, dishwasher, dolce gusto coffee machine, fridge with ice compartment, water cooker, oven, hair dryer, towels. Sometimes you will find some mini ants, but due to the hot weather this was inevitable. Because we stayed for a week there is no house cleaning. There is a vacuum cleaner and sweeper. The towels we washed ourselves in the wasmachine (there were washing tablets) The bedrooms has good beds. The living room was cozy, nice couch. Both were airconditioned. Unfortunately two times in the same room, the air conditioner broke down. After flagging the housekeeping came to fix next possible moment, but it was still two hot nights without airco. One night also the water pressure was down resulting one night and morning with no water. This was a problem with the water company but still not really convenient. The beach was across the road, and it’s like a private beach since when we were the only one there. We strongly recommend to rent a car. It’s an hour and 20 minutes drive from the airport and the supermarket is with a 10 minute drive. We enjoyed Rhodes and the villa very much, and could recommend it to everyone.

En nydelig steinvilla

Southrock villige er like flott som bildene på viser! Kjøkkenet er godt utrustet for matlaging. Svømmebassenget utenfor var herlig forfriskende! Rett utenfor Southrock village ligger stranda. Det er bare å glede seg til et bad i det turkisblå havet! Fordelen med steinstrand er, at det er rent å ligge på. Stranda er ikke overfylt. Vi savnet parasoller! Kyriakos verten hjelper og legger til rette, og er super i engelsk! Det går buss fra Rhodos til byen Gennadi, 7 km unna. Av praktiske hensyn samt eventyrlyst, valgte vi å ha leiebil. Leiebilfirmaet CarTrawler hadde nye og fine biler. Og var utmerket å forholde seg til! Gennadi har en vel assortert matbutikk, med ferskvaredisk; kjøtt og oster. Kjøttdeigen blir kvernet mens du venter! Disken har mye godt som egner seg på grillen! Ved siden av ligger South Bakery. De har et enormt utvalg av fristende bakevarer. Pass på at de bruker Euro som valuta! Vi opplevde at de forsøkte å velge NOK for oss. Litt nedenfor ligger en frukt og grønt butikk. I byens hovedgate samt gågate ligger mange restauranter. I byen Lachania er det en bitte liten butikk det de selger hjemmebakt brød stekt i vedovn. Den ligger nærmere enn Gennadi, men er mye mindre.

Beautiful Villa near by the sea with private pool

We really enjoyed our stay in Rhodes at South Rock Villas. As we arrived at the airport the host of the Villa was waiting for us to give us some information about the area around the Villa which was really nice. The Villa looked as luxury as the photos show, it was in a great condition. The best thing about the Villa is the terrace with the private pool. To visit the nice beaches at Rhodes it’s good to have a rental car, but it does not even get boring to spend the whole day at the pool in the Villa. The host was really friendly and you could notice that he really cares about his guests and want them to have a perfect stay. If you have some questions or any problems you can always contact him. In conclusion I would recommend the Villa to everyone who wants to visit Rhodes, and if I visit Rhodes again I will definitley stay at South Rock Villas again.
