We absolutely loved our stay at Sunshine Hotel. It was very clean, the staff was OUTSTANDING, the food was great and the location was perfect. Kamari was our favorite side of the island. The beachfront location, variety of restaurants/bars, shops and close access to the bus were ideal. I hope to return for another visit and Sunshine will be my first choice for accommodations. Do not hesitate to consider this lovely boutique hotel. Demitris and his staff are top notch!!!!

A beautiful week

Had the most wonderful stay at Sunshine Hotel. Such a good location, (Kamari was easily my favourite area in Santorini) and I think the hotel had the best bar and beach set up, with very nice sun loungers on the beach. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made our stay a special one.

Overall great spot, great breakfast, great accommodations. 2 negatives: Assumption that parking behind the hotel was easily located (not, no signage, with one way streets, frustrating as every miss was another cycle around town) Overly aggressive concierge; baggage assistance was not required as we travel light but despite declining, insisted resulting in a comedy of errors which ended up just delaying our departure and frustrating us and ultimately leaving a negative memory to an otherwise positive stay.

The best things about my stay here was that the hotel was right on the beach strand, the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delightful. The room I had was a bit outdated, but had the necessities. I loved that there were plenty of retail and restaurants nearby.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Sunshine Hotel! Receptionists, cleaning staff, and restaurant staff were all super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Cannot beat the proximity to the beach with free access to lounge chairs and service from the hotel restaurant, plus having the pool as an option when you’re all beached out was perfect!

Although its a typical hotel ... the prox to the beach and the access to umbrella chairs was great. The front staff were friendly and informative about the hotel. Breakfast was OK. and unfortunately as was the case in other hotels I stayed in around the Greek Islands, this one did not offer a bottle of water nor did they supply hair conditioner in the shower. I was surprised by this since the hotel does tell you no to drink the tap water.

From the very start at check in with Eva on reception everything & everyone about Sunshine Hotel was fantastic! All the hotel staff from our room cleaner, kitchen & bar staff, beach & restaurant staff were extremely friendly, helpful & courteous Our room 402 was overlooking the pool with great views of the mountain behind, it was spacious & also had a balcony, fridge, large tv(didn’t use) Breakfast was quite basic, a mixture of toast, cereals, fresh fruit & some cooked option, all very tasty but maybe not for everyone. Situated on a long pedestrianised sea front which is mainly dominated by hotel restaurants that overlook the sea, anyone can use so you’re spoilt for choice! Kamari is a laid back resort, ideal for couples wanting a more relaxed holiday, it does have some lively bars however if you prefer! If you’re thinking of staying in Kalamari I would highly recommend Sunshine Hotel for your stay 😁
