Neighborhood
This is a quite neighborhood, as the house is next to a large field.
Down the road (600meters walk) there is a mini market for your basic supplies and a big supermarket 1klm away from home.
On the same road there is also a mini cafeteria that offers good quality and a big quantity of coffee, 2 of the top 5 restaurants in town and a really beautiful cocktail bar. All of them right next to the sea.
A bank ATM machine is available little before reaching the city center and also a big supermarket.
The best things you can do is either to go to the nearest beach on foot (about 5 minutes), or to the old town(3-5 minutes by car, about 20 minutes on foot).
In additional, you can surely enjoy the restaurants, cocktail bar and cafeteria.
There is plenty of space for parking your car or cars
There is a bus station located to the nearest road (500 meters away from the home)
The highway is also 5minutes away from home, so it is easy for you to travel around Crete by bus or by your car.
The nearest airport station is located in Chania (66klm away), the town next to Rethymnon, but there is also one in Heraklion
