My stay was a pleasant one because of the staff, the ambiance and the hotel was vibrant. Most of the things people expect when visiting Jamaica. What surprised was that the food at the food market lacked flavor! Most of the food was not good at all. The flavors were bland. That is the missing piece to this hotel. The best food was from Jam Rock! I want to give this place another try with a large group but please FIX THE FOOD my friends.

The food was OK. I could probably find 1/5 items I thought tasted good. My bed was ok, but this was a family trip and we booked 10 rooms (different reservations), 4 people to each room, each with double beds on the reservations. However, when we got there majority of the rooms received were single beds with a pull out sofa and not all the sofa beds were made. We were told that even if we book a certain type of room it's based on availability when we get there. You had to wait for seating at the buffet which I've never experienced. We were told there was only a club on the adults only side. They had a bar that only played music until 12, even though it was open until 4am. I will say the staff was generally sweet, even though you had one or two bad apple. Also, the waiting area was hot. I was expecting to be greeted with wet washcloths based on videos of the hotel, but we didn't receive that.

We had a wonderful time at the Princess Grand. The rooms were clean and we found the beds extremely comfortable. The food variety was good and we always found something that we liked. Overall, our experience was a good one and we would definitely return. Our only recommendation would be to improve on the check in process as it took almost an hour for us to get checked in.

Property was breathtaking. I would definitely stay there again. The food in the buffet was not the best but we were upgraded to VIP and was able to eat at the other buffet if you’re gonna stay there pay extra for the VIP bracelet.

A few odd things with the resort, we were placed in an adjoining room and didn’t know the people on the other side, it was fine until they were super early risers and also woke us up. I did request a new room and the front staff were able to fulfill my request, I was grateful! I do feel that both rooms bathrooms weren’t cleaned well, you can see the area in front of the toilet was dirty (if you have a young son you know what I’m talking about), also didn’t like that there was no fan/ventilation in the toilet room. We had a great view in both rooms, I think the report was designed to have great views from every angle, which was so great! The market buffet was where we ate breakfast each day and it wasn’t that great however they did have a lot of options. Staff was friendly, they had great entertainment and the property was beautiful! Overall, it was a great stay and I’d definitely return again.
