Great location.
A couple issues the door did not lock unless you slammed it, sorry to my neighbor lol did not work any better after I reported it. I extended my stay 2 days took me trip 5 trips to front desk to confirm i can stay in same room and get new updated key card, apparently personal who do reservations only work periodically, was not resolved until i was locked out of my room.
I have stay here many times and will in the future as i think this was just a 1 off and not the norm for this economical gem in centro.

The building has a lot of history and character and is convenient to the city center. The table in our room could have been wiped cleaner. The remote was not legible but I could trade it at the front desk for one that was usable. There was a bit of dust in the corners of the room. However it was spacious enough and met our needs.

A very convenient stay with excellent access to the Center Viejo! The long distance Camionera Central Nueva is now easily reached by the new electric Tren from the nearby Independencia station a short walk from the hotel.
The staff was very helpful even adding an extra heater for the seasonal cold nights. There was also an extra blanket in the room which I added after the first night.
I have stayed here years ago and this time I found a more modern, clean, quiet and relaxing place. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay, except for how intermittent the WiFi was in the room and how hard was to figure out how to turn on the hot water.
