SAVE MORE on the BEACH! ~ GULF FRONT 2 Bedroom ~ Island Winds

Welcome to our home away from home, close to everything and anything Gulf Shores has to offer. We have sought to equip our condo to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a luxurious stay. You want to feel relaxed while on vacation. We have made every effort to make our condo feel like a cozy retreat.

For your comfort we have a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, king-sized bed in the spare bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a wonderful meal. We have included a regular sized coffee pot and k-cup coffee pot. Dining room has seating for four with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. Full sized stackable washer/dryer tucked away in the hall closet for your convenience. Large flatscreen televisions throughout. Each bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

Incredibly open feel views of the Gulf of Mexico from your private balcony. Enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee while watching the dolphins swim by each morning. You are sure to have a wonderful vacation here.

Island Winds East Units: Onsite parking is limited to one (1) parking pass per unit, regardless of size during Spring Break, mid May through mid August, Labor Day, and Shrimp Festival event. Additional parking available offsite. Subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

*Rates are set by the HOA and are subject to change without prior notice.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

GS Condo

The room was nice and the layout was great. The drain was very slow and needs some attention. The inside of the room was beautiful but outside needs updating. It was an easy access to the beach and pool and walking distance to everything. Overall it was a very nice stay.

Condo with a view

We received a phone a few days before arrival that the dishwasher was broken and would not be fixed before arrival. Half way through our stay, I received a phone call from the on-site management team informing me the repair person was onsite. They gave him the door code to our condo and told him to go fix it. We received no notice and we were not onsite at the time. I told the onsite property management person, I was not comfortable with their 3rd party repair person accessing our place without us there. They sent a staff person to our unit to be with the repair man. One of the ladies working the front desk was not very friendly. She seemed annoyed to help me with the parking pass and answering a few questions I had. The condo furnishings were fairly new and the ocean-view was amazing. Condo floors could have been a little cleaner and the master bedroom temperature ran warmer than the rest of the condo.

Great Place to Stay

Perfect location! Beach is literally right in front of you! Would recommend you bring liquid soap as there was not any in the condo and bring your own toiletries (body wash and shampoo and conditioner). We are pleasantly pleased with the location and the price. Would love to come back soon!

Clean but

Property and condo were clean. I was told at check in no smoking on the property but witnessed many vaping and smoking at the pool. I was told there was a quiet time after 11pm but the Next door visitors were loud all night long and and at 3am sounded like they were tearing down walls. Tv in one bedroom never worked. Windows only in master bedroom - no balcony access like the pictures showed. Check out was at 10am. At 8:30am a man let himself in our condo with a code on his phone and told me he was there to clean!!!! I told him to leave because we had not checked out. He said well I am here to clean. Again I told him to leave. He said well I will be back at 10. Mattresses were extremely firm better than being worn out. Overall condo was good just not impressed with the overall property.

Quaint & good location

Location is wonderful. You can walk to several shops and restaurants. The condo could use a little updating in the bathrooms (tub, faucets, etc.), but the unit was very clean and in good condition. The ice maker didn't work :( however, once notified someone was sent to investigate that day. It couldn't be fixed, but these things happen. I would recommend this unit and personally, would stay again.

Loved the time spent at the beach!

We didn’t know that we had reserved a smoking condo. The Island Winds East staff changed us to a non-smoking condo. They were so accommodating and nice throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying there and it is very convenient to stores and restaurants. Want to go back!!!

My Husband and I rented this Condo for 5 nights. The Condo was so nice, clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The Owners spent a lot of time in decorating and furnishing condo. We had plenty of room even though we spent most of our time on the balcony. The beach view was gorgeous and so relaxing. We hope to rent this Condo again real soon.

Very good vacation rental for the price

I booked this condo for a mini vacation with my daughter, her boyfriend, my grandson, and his girlfriend. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to a lot of the shops and restaurants. Many of the popular beach activities such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and beach rentals are available right outside the back door. The property is clean, well maintained, and secure. Our unit is advertised as a smoking unit, but did not smell of tobacco smoke. It was clean, nicely furnished, and plenty of room for our party of five adults. The carpeting in the bedrooms was in pretty bad shape, but a sign on the back of the entry door indicated that some remodeling was underway, so perhaps there are plans for it to be replaced. The only thing that was a bit inconvenient, is no access to a bathroom without going through one of the bedrooms. This meant who ever got the sofa sleeper had to intrude on someones privacy and sleep to use the facilities during the night. But overall, we would definitely book again!

Great stay, basic condo

Staying at a Brett/Robinson property was a good choice. There is appropriate security and the condo is clean, but dated. Unlike other properties we have stayed at the Gulf Shores, the condo lacked the care a small owner would add to the property. The carpets in the bedrooms were worn, and my daughter found a dog bone underneath her bed. This was pretty interesting for a condo with a no pet clause. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is close to the center of excitement but far enough away to be quite at night, a big deal this Spring Break.
