Charged for the bag the slippers came in

Nice place. I was charged for the bag that the disposable slippers came in which is unfortunate. They were unable to explain why but insisted I pay. So please be careful with everything in the room as you might be charged for it.

Exceptional villas - stay here if going to Sogiriy

Taru Villas was exceptional! From the moment we walked in, the team could not do enough to help us - they were all fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and bathroom stunning. Loved the pool area, which was very peaceful. Food was fabulous in the restaurant as well. If you’re going to Dambulla / Sigiriya, stay here!!

Best hotel room we’ve had. Beautiful location and property and awesome food, really well adjusted to my wife’s gluten intolerance. the employees really care and go above and beyond. Absolutely great! Well done and keep it up. Only 2 small pieces of advice for the management because I know you care about it: 1. Increase number of towels in the rooms, 1 per day is not enough in the outside bathroom because things stay moisty 2. Do room service when guests are at breakfast. We often were out of the room several hours in a row and then the room wasn’t cleaned yet. It then had to be cleaned when we wanted to be in it. Apart from that 10/10!
