Enjoy Lake Ashi

The hotel is well located for lake views, view of Mt Fuji and access to Hakone Round Course. They provide great facilities and services with complimentary buses to/from Odawara Station and Mota Harkone and excellent hot springs facilities. Access to shopping and alternate eating opportunities is a little restricted.

Absolutely amazing 1st class property. From the moment you arrive the staff is welcoming and attentive. The entire facility is super clean and beautiful. The view of Mt Fuji is awe inspiring across the lake. It exceeded all my expectations and I will remember this stay forever.

I love the greenery around the hotel and its location next to the lake but the outdoor onsen is quite a distance from the rooms and having to walk there in the cold turned me off. Upon checking out I was annoyed that I had to pay a compulsory bath charge of 150 yen which I think is ridiculous considering that it costs more than 40000 yen to stay one night there. I was also annoyed by the hotel’s lack of response to my request to book the shuttle service from the train station when I messaged them before arrival. Had to telephone them from the train station.

The rooms were spacious and the views from the hotel were very nice.
