The staff is amazing. Everyone of them went above and beyond. Could not do enough for us. Only downside was limited places to store clothing etc. no cupboards or closets. Just hangers beside the tv. Would have been ok for one or two nights. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Not in the most convenient area.

Where to start? Our first view was a facade crammed between two other buildings at an angle. Checkin was crowded, with too many people in too small a space. When I asked if there was a view, the check-in person said, "That's not a thing". Snarky, but accurate. The tiny and cluttered room had a small window looking out at the side of one of the neighboring buildings and a gravel flat roof. On top of all of this, the price was ridiculous--the hotel evidently taking advantage of a busier than usual weekend to hike the prices. The only bright spot was that the breakfast wait staff were all very nice.

super cute, super modern. Close to the waterfront. We were charged something on our room (around $3) and they spent 30 minutes looking for the receipt- which was not signed by us....then would not remove it from our charges. other than that it was good. The "every 2nd day" room cleaning was a hit and miss.

I’d like to mixture of seniors and young people. I was there on the weekend and the crowd at night seemed lively and happy. The weight staff was very good and helpful. I asked one of the staff to give me some ideas of what to do and they were very helpful. My stay in Halifax in general was very good and I even got some work done. I went around the neighborhood and saw the seaside and the slums which both interested me.
The entrance was beautiful with touch of neon to accent it and make it stand out
The waterfront was my favorite part and the food was very good. I ate poutine for the first time.
The hotel rooms were designed in a postmodern fashion with minimalist undertones
There was a method in madness to the rooms design. Unusual but striking and beautiful.

Great for short stay

I liked this hotel and it was comfortable enough for one night, but the towels smelled like gasoline and the tv was in a really awkward place so neither bed could watch comfortably. I loved the restaurant, all the hooks in the room, welcome drink and the free lockers. I would stay here again for a short one or two night stay.
