Posted Jan. 15, 2024 on HotelsI feel very comfortable and had good sleep at night, very calm and noise free place and also cleanliness. Just one thing I want to mention about there is no attach bath in the room. It’s a separate on a different side. All in all I am satisfied with the stay.

Nice spot for a couple of days
Posted Dec. 30, 2023 on HotelsThe check in process was easy and the room was neat. The beds, though small, were comfortable. A shared bathroom means 2 toilets for women (and separate wc for men) at the end of the hall. The hotel is close to bus stops. To get to the center of Hamburg a bus and a train are required. A few restaurants are within walking distance.

The hostel is easy to access from the airport. The bus station is close and a supermarket is nearby. But on the other hand, if you are not travelling by car, there are not many choices for food nearby.

If you are looking for an affordable and clean place to stay away from the city center, the Aracade Hostel is a great option. It is located off a main road, but I didn't notice any noise (other than from the family next door.) The bed was also very comfortable! I took a taxi to and from the airport and it was about 27 euro each way and took less than 20 minutes.

Nearby the Barclays Arena, and not so far away from the Altona Old City. The dining options around the area are really limited but for the purpose (a short stay) it was ok.

Posted Jul. 25, 2021 on HotelsIt’s a no contact hostel :) you will get a reservation number by email and check in at a machine by yourself which was a new and unique experience for me and I thought it’s cute and fun.
It’s an old building so you will get only one key and lock doors inside and outside with the key. The room was spacious and well conditioned.
However I step on crumbs on floor everyday after making a room. Except not enough vacuuming, other things are fine.
I didn’t know that there was no hand soap or shampoo because it’s a hostel level. It was okay I went shopping :) Don’t forget to bring your own bathroom amenities. I will have enough towels though.
